    What did you watch?

    Hey, thanks for asking!

So the DVR service has been out again for a couple of days. For that
matter, Century Link phoneservice is out. So I turned to the fire stick.

It suggested I watch some Stargate and when I agreed developed a mind of
    its own.

It jumped around and presented me with the original movie, several episodes from the final season of SG1, I asked to watch continuum, it volunteered
the ark of truth, it showed me the pilot of Stargate Atlantis SGA (I had forgotten what a poorly written and cast Pile of crap it was) and without seeing if I wanted to see more of the series, it jumped to the Stargate universe SGU pilot (I had not forgotten what a poorly written and cast pile
of crap that was, and my opinion was reaffirmed).

Then Stargate SGU vanished completely. The fire stick canrCOt find it nor is
it in my viewing history. Very strange.

Now IrCOm watching season four of warehouse the 13th the series.

Something I did hunt down to watch was the Doctor Who episode rCLthe timeless childrCY which is so constantly complained about here.

It seems that modern day Doctor Who is almost completely inaccessible on
any streamer I can get to now. I finally had to turn to the gray web.

The first thing to note is that there is no such episode. There is rCLthe timeless childrenrCY which is the second half of a two-part season ender.

and as advertised, it is absolutely wretched in every possible way, and
serves no function other than to be woke. Pretty much none of it makes
sense and I had to go read the synopsis on the Wikipedia to figure out what they were even going for.

That's potentially alarming. Let's hope they do it sensibly.

I remember hearing complaints about the Paramount+ interface,
so if it's switching to theirs...

I don't hate the Paramount+ interface. At least it works, which is more
than can be said for HBO MAX. IMO, Paramount+ is smoother than Pluto,
    though I don't mind either.

Hulu probably has the best interface, though.

Wow, you must be using a different version of Hulu than I am. Which is
actually likely given that I can access Hulu six different ways. I have standalone Hulu and Disney+/Hulu apps on the Firestick and the DVR and the iPhone.

But they are all awful. If you pause more than a couple minutes when you go back, it makes you relaunch and sign in again and it will only after you navigate to the show offer you the option to resume but half the time when
you click resume, it plays a different show entirely.
