    What did you watch?

    Hey, thanks for asking!

    To Tell the Truth
An old episode with a young up-and-coming magician nobody had ever heard of or seen before. I think his name was Doug Henning.

An old episode with an old up-and-coming popcorn maker nobody had ever
heard of or seen before. I think his name was Orville Redenbacher.

This was OK. Not great but not as terrible as everything has been since
1978. IrCOd probably put it on a par with Superman 2, which was half as good as Superman the movie. The Nookie was better than I thought herCOd be as Guy Gardner although I have no idea why they decided to make him blonde instead of carrot top orange.

Perhaps that was his real hair and he didn't want to dye it?

Hawkgirl brought nothing to the party.

Well, she did murder one particularly important character. So there was
    that.

    I guess Mr.
Terrific mustrCOve been an addition to the comics after I stopped reading them.

According to Wikipedia the character has been around since 1942. With
the modern version debuting in 1997. I remember him from Justice League Unlimited in the early to mid 2000s. And he was a regular on "Arrow." Apparently the character also made an appearance on "Smallville" but I
    don't remember that.

There were a lot of characters I had no idea who they were; for
instance, Lex had two hot women in evening type dresses in his office. One was Miss Tessmacher, but I havenrCOt got any clue who the other one was unless they just tossed in a bimbo du jour.
I hated Ma Kent. Metamorpho left me underwhelmed. There was so little left
of the city of Metropolis at the end I would think it would be easier to start over somewhere else.

There was a post credit scene showing Metropolis under repair.

    \S/tupidgirl just offended me.

There's a whole movie with her coming out next year! Apparently that characterization (and the movie's plot) is being adapted straight from
    the comics.

I wish Arthur were here to discuss this. :-(

I think I liked it more than you. But not as much as some others who
are calling it the best thing ever. As a reboot of the franchise, I
like where things are headed with a new Superman who is closer to the Christopher Reeve version. But I would have appreciated seeing a little
more Superman action in the movie. I know the movie was full of action,
but you can never have too much Superman doing Super things.

She didn't get much screen time, so yeah.

I remember him from the 1908's Justice League. He and his wife, Big Barda,
were amusing with their domestic antics.

I also wish threy'd fire the PR department who did this movie.

ItrCOs a wig. They show them fitting it to him in behind-the-scenes clips.

I stopped watching the Awful Arrow somewhere in the middle of the series.

I donrCOt remember a lot of Smallville. But I am enjoying tremendously the TalkVille podcast hosted by Lex Luther.
