    A cannon had lots and lots of recoil. They tied it to its mountings with
    heavy rope but after being fired, it might get loose, role around on the
    deck, wreaking havoc.

    If an ATF agent were incapable of safely taking a heavy weapon into
    secure custody, what the hell use is he? Fire him.

    Thank goodness Congress banned high-capacity magazines of cannonballs.

    But when I just glanced at this headline right now, I initially read it
    as "Rick Hearst" and nearly had a heart attack!!
