    Middlegame by Seanan McGuire
    finished on August 14.2025

This book is a few years old. The cover features a Hand of Glory
This is a story which asserts in passing that witches and alchemist are
the same sort of magic users. Just fpr this story. The protagonists
are lovable constructs and the villains are unlovable constructs.

Dorothy A. Baker who wrote popular children's book about 2
children on the Improbable Road to the Impossible City which
are really al-chemical treatises. She created, not meaning ill
the construct who is chief villain and he created the secondary
villain but then he tried to incarnate the Doctrine Of Ethos in
two specially constructed children who are the lovable if foolish
protagonists who cause earthquakes when they get together.
Frank L.Baum a lesser alchemist wrote the Oz books in part to
distract and confuse readers of her books.

It is suspenseful and magical in the way that the author
has shown us in her many other books. This is the longest
at 523 pages of story in hardcover of her books I have read
    to date.
In May 2019 it sold for $29.99 but I got mine at the
SFPL-Main. From Tor.com by Tom Doherty associates and
Tor is a mark of McMillian. for further information search online. <https://bookreadfree.com/authors/Seanan%20McGuire.html> <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middlegame>
