After a mention in this group, I just read Freezing Down by Anders
Bodelson... and I liked it a lot and thought it actually worked out
very well without any of the broken science and misused SF tropes that
are often seen when mainstream authors attempt SF. I don't know how
the translation is but it did not seem stilted or in any way wrong to
me. I wish someone had told me about this book years ago,
And yes, I did keep thinking about Woody Allen's Sleeper as I read it.
