    Hi Denizens of SF.written,

I am not of the Transformers mersmerized generation however this is interesting
to me because it is history of the robotic characters. If you are
    anti-woke you might
wish to avoid this show. On the other hand if you are woke you might be
    very happy
with the details of of the review. I do read David Willis comics about
    the characters
who are immersed in these stories.

I saw it some time ago. It's an OK origin story, setting up for the
Optimus Prime vs ... (I forgot the villain's name, that's how
interested in /Transformers/ I am) battles.
Of course, they start out as friends. And end as enemies. But its
watchable, and a fan would probably enjoy it even more than I did. ><https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2025/10/2/2302493/-DVD-review-Transformers-One>
Rather political, that review, until it settles down and actually
    talks about the film.
But I suppose that is just a sign of how successful Trump's "only talk
    about me" campaign is going.
