    I notice that all but one of these choices involve trips explicitly to
    America.

    I'm always fascinated to see foreigner's perspectives on places with

    I am SO glad I read "To Say Nothing of the Dog" first, as I certainly
    wouldn't have bothered after reading any of the other amazingly grim
    stories in the same continuity.
