Wow, that was awful. I had no idea such a thing existed. IrCOve never seen an episode of Webster. This couldrCOve been a lot worse though. It couldrCOve had gates McMuffin in it. Or Picard. Or Troy.

Yep. Webster was a more kid-targetted show though.

Diff'rent Strokes' actor Gary Coleman did play a different character in
Buck Rogers, but he wasn't in any Star Trek. :-)

I shouldrCOve included Picard, but I didnrCOt mention lower decks or prodigy for the same reason you didnrCOt mention the others, IrCOve never watched them.

In those first few minutes of Enterprise we found out that the Klingon home world is within our own Oort cloud. That was pretty appalling.

The only good episode of Enterprise was the finale where we found out the
whole show was just a holo deck simulation being watched by Riker and Troy
on the Enterprise D. And a huge FU to the audience.

Enterprise wasn't a terrible show, IMO. It just didn't feel like Star
    Trek.

"Is it a good show?" and "Is it good SF?" and "Is it good Star Trek?"

The problem is it *was* meant to be part of the Star Trek franchise
(depsite not including "Star Trek" in the show's title) and it simply
    did not even remotely fit.

If they had called the show and characters by new names and not had it
as part of the Star Trek franchise, then it may or may not have been
any good as a sci-fi TV show - that wouldbe personal opinion and the
idiotic "oil me 'up Scotty" scenes would still have stopped me
    bothering to watch it.

"The Orville" was better "Star Trek" than any of the newer stuff, and
that is not part of Star Trek franchise.

The problem is it *was* meant to be part of the Star Trek franchise
(depsite not including "Star Trek" in the show's title) and it simply
    did not even remotely fit.

I agree. I did like things about it, though.

LOL, I'd forgotten about the decontamination protocol. That was pretty blatant.

"The Orville" was better "Star Trek" than any of the newer stuff, and
that is not part of Star Trek franchise.

I thought it was okay, but I didn't like it as much as some did. It
often made less sense than Star Trek, which is its own kind of
accomplishment. A lot of the acting was good, though.

A mate of mine referred to these scenes as "Dr Phlox's Greasing
    Chamber".
