When is Star Wars: Visions Season 3 coming out?
Star Wars: Visions Season 3 is scheduled to make its debut on
October 29, 2025, after over two years since the award-winning
show concluded its 9-episode second installment. Season 3 will
once again feature nine stories consisting of six new storylines
and three continuing shorts from Volume 1.

After showcasing animation from different countries in Season 2,
the animated anthology now returns to where it all began with nine
shorts from nine different anime studios in Japan, including
returning contributors Kamikaze Douga, Kinema citrus Co., Production
I.G, and TRIGGER. Season 3 will also introduce five new anime
studios to the world of Star Wars - ANIMA (in co-production with
Kamikaze Douga), David Production, Polygon Pictures, Project Studio
Q, and WIT Studio - to further demonstrate the diversity and
    creativity of Japanese animation.

Listed below are the nine stories for Volume 3:

    - The Duel: Payback hails from director Takanobu Mizuno.
In the new short, Ronin continues to pursue and defeat Sith, but
must call a truce with his latest adversary, a Sith named Aneo-san,
to face his greatest foe - a twisted Jedi known as The Grand
    Master.

    - The Lost Ones serves as a sequel to director Hitoshi Haga's The
Village Bride short from Volume 1.
The story will follow "F" as she confronts her former Master - a
new character named Shad-Rah - when the refugee ship she is on is
    intercepted by the Empire.

    - The Ninth Jedi: Child of Hope is a continuation of director Kenji
    Kamiyama's Vol. 1 short.
The sequel is now directed by Naoyoshi Shiotani. It follows Kara,
who gets separated from Juro while being pursued by Jedi hunters
and encounters a mysterious droid named Teto on an abandoned ship.

    - Yuko's Treasure hails from director Masaki Tachibana.
It will follow Yuko and a bear droid, named Billy.

    - The Smuggler hails from directed by Masahiko Otsuka.
It follows a desperate smuggler hired to bring a wanted young
prince to safety as the Empire pursues.

    - The Bounty Hunters - From WIT studio, the short is directed by
    director Junichi Yamamoto.
It centers around a bounty hunter named Sevn and his rather odd
    sidekick named IV-A4.

    - The Song of Four Wings - From director Hiroyasu Kobayashi.
The new short follows rebel princess Crane and her droid sidekick,
Tor-Tu, as they investigate the Empire's movements on a snowy
planet where the rebels are based.

    - The Bird of Paradise - From Tadahiro Yoshihira.
The new short revolves around a hot-headed Jedi Padawan who, after
being blinded in battle, must undergo a series of spiritual trials
to overcome the temptation to the dark side.

    - Black - Written and directed by Shinya Ohira.
The new short explores a stormtrooper's experience in combat,
delving into a deep internal struggle within his psyche. He battles
past vs. present, light vs. dark, and life vs. death.
