From Happy Days to Star Trek, The Dukes of Hazzard to Laverne & Shirley, these live-action classics were reimagined as animated chaosa often with questionable results.

Reminds me that I (in the UK) saw the animated "Brady Kids" and "The
Addams Family" before the parent shows. So when I eventually saw the
real thing I wondered what happened to the talking bird/wizard and the
house that turned into a car, respectively.

I saw a few episodes of the Brady cartoon. Starting in the second
series, they got a new actor for Greg who sounded nothing like the
original. The new actor was a mature, deep-voiced man, and it was disconcerting to hear that voice as a teen's voice.

I never heard of The Dukes. Somehow I'm sure it's bad. I vaguely recall
a cartoon version of Punky Brewster. Never watched it, though.

I see they are displaying the confederate flag very, very, very, very, very prominently. I know people that would blow a fuse over the very first frame

I remember a lot of TV shows in the early to mid 1970's getting a cartoon version: The Brady Bunch, The Patridges (in outer space!), Gilligan's Island

It also seemed to overlap the time they had a band and performed a song at
    the end.

There was a series of the show "Emergency!".Thought I'd see the Brady Kids on here too.
As a kid I always wondered why the animal side kicks weren't in the live action version.
Also on "Star Trek" I was wondering where all these alien crew members came from and
weren't on the original show. The answer is simple In animation you can do ANYTHING!

Star Trek: The Animated Series isn't really "forgotten" nor

Great video! A couple of spin offs which deserve an honorable mention.
    - Gilligan's Island
    - My Favorite Martian
    - The Amazing Chan and The Chan Clan.
I grew up watching all of these in syndication, some translated into Spanish.
