The movie was "Mars Attacks!", but the computer game is "Mars
Attracts". The game is a 'theme park management sim', so is really just ridiculous cash-in garbage that really has very little to do with the
movie other than a graphical 'skin'.
New Mars Attacks Game Trailer Reveals Release Date
--------------------------------------------------
A new game based on the Mars Attacks! film is in development.
Developed by Outlier, Mars Attracts got a new trailer, which
reveals its imminent release date.
When is the Mars Attracts release date?
Mars Attracts is a theme park management sim that lets players
play as the distinctive aliens from Mars Attacks, which was
first a Topps trading card series before being adapted into a
film directed by Tim Burton.
Players will build rides, hire staff, and manage the needs of
their customers. They'll also abduct humans for their
attractions. The game is compared to other hit management sims,
like Roller Coaster Tycoon, Theme Hospital, and Zoo Tycoon. The
trailer below gives a great glimpse of what to expect from the
game.

The end of the trailer reveals that Mars Attracts will release
for PC via Steam on September 16. It is worth noting that this
release date applies to the early access version of the game.
Outlier states that the early access period is expected to last
nine months. This means a full release is slated around June
2026.
Here is a brief description of Mars Attracts:
"Mars Attracts is a theme park management game set on Mars. Play
as the devious Martians from the cult-classic universe of Mars
Attacks and build your amusement park empire, abducting humans
from across history to display in customizable enclosures for
the entertainment of curious Martian guests. Study humanity in
their natural habitat, or subject them to whatever twisted
experiments you can imagine!"
Outlier also announced there will be a Supporter's Edition for
Mars Attracts that will include several extra goodies for the
game. This includes an hour-long behind-the-scenes featurette,
soundtrack, a 56-page artbook, and access to a bonus human
enclosure and special character. Pricing is not yet given for
this edition or for the standard edition of the game. It is
currently available to wishlist on Steam.
