Daniella has a litter of pups, but only two dinnerplates.

In both this strip and Kevin & Kell, carnivores must eat
people. Kevin & Kell plays it for laughs, Doc Rat is in the
middle of a long arc dealling with it, and the tragedy of it
has often featured before.

In Kevin & Kell, female characters have human-type hairdos.
The closest Doc Rat comes to that is Kathy's swept-back ear
style.

But I guess that there are limits to realistic portrayals of
animals who are people.

In Freefall, where there is only one sapient non-human
mammal, when Florence is depicted naked, there are three or
four censor bars.

The issue would come up from time to time in Pogo. Perhaps most
memorably with the Louisiana Perches & the Beanbag team from Ptarmigan U.
