"Labour leader Chris Hipkins says the new Covid-19 inquiry has been deliberately constructed to platform people with rCLconspiracy theorist viewsrCY.

The second stage of the commission is is about getting some answers to the Labour Government's response to Covid-19 around lockdowns and mandates as
these were not in first one.

rCLSo I think that the terms of reference have been deliberately constructed to achieve a particular outcome, particularly around providing a platform
for those who have conspiracy theorist views."

Which conspiracy theorist views? Most of them have been proven. They are now fact.

Of course if we follow the science, we get theories which are discussed.

Really? Can you name any that have been proved true?

Well-earned criticism for what, Tony? A world leading result in terms
of saving lives, keeping life as normal as possible through the
pandemic, and recovering economically more quickly than virtually
every other country. One of those appearing today talked of how good
it was to come to New Zealand after a year experiencing the pandemic
in another country, to find New Zealand largely free of the trauma,
the deaths, the degradation of society that had been experienced in
    another country.

No, for destroying the economy and enforcing, without a mandate, draconian measures.
Overall the damage was probably greater than if the virus had been allowed to run. Only time will tell, meanwhile you will keep spouting the party line.

The economy was not destroyed - we recovered quicker than virtually
all countries; there was little increase in unemployment; few
companies had to close, and for most people life continued, albeit
with some restrictions that were shown to be very effective in
    limiting the loss of life.

Overall the damage was probably greater than if the virus had been allowed to

Absolute rubbish - you have no evidence to prove that - there was less
damage to our economy or normal life than for virtually every other
country. The virus affected far less lives than in other countries

Only time will tell, meanwhile you will keep spouting the party line.
Time has told - you are wrong.

Yes it was, and still recovering.

    Nope. Time will indeed tell.
