    It also demonstrates why we need to prioritise the reduction of
    Government debt. While that money has been spent, it was debt-funded
    and the interest cost is still there and not going away.

    Absolutely. They didn't ask me if I was prepared to accept that debt.
    Once elected, they were unstoppable until the reckoning in October 2023.
