    During Covid the previous Labour Government spent an estimated $66 Billion dollars, or 20.4% of the country's GDP. It sure does explain why the economy

    It also demonstrates why we need to prioritise the reduction of
    Government debt. While that money has been spent, it was debt-funded
    and the interest cost is still there and not going away.

    Absolutely. They didn't ask me if I was prepared to accept that debt.
    Once elected, they were unstoppable until the reckoning in October 2023.
