• troll "tells" like shooting fish in a barrel

spotting troll "tells" is like shooting fish in a barrel (one shot toward the
bottom of the barrel, before water drains out the fish are transferred safely to an adjacent barrel of water... just because it could be done, doesn't mean it should be done), troll farm maestro script writers (apparently >99% "a.i." generated and propagated by now) lack not only truth but its virtues, such as
creativity, originality, improvisation, because veracity is unnatural to them, they don't even bother to hide their tracks, not even to "hide in plain sight"

and because at least 95% of all usenet articles (since circa 1995, ~30 years) are troll farm chatter, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to use newsreaders, e.g. 40tude dialog, to download and filter xover headers in any newsgroup for common strings in subject, from, message id, score, etc. (downloaded articles enable non-overview headers for comprehensive filtering) . . . qsl-trolls are in the top-ten "hall of fame" of a.p.a-s subject headers (the remaining 5% of qsl articles are less likely to be troll farm, but caveat emptor nonetheless)

they use every newsserver available, reuse old or modified "from" aliases and bungling, akward usage of slang, gratuitous vulgarity, deliberate misspelling, schoolyard bully mediocrity (their aptitude for these skillsets is legendary), and really the a-z encyclopedia of confusion, obfuscation, and psyops warfare

they adore three-letter acronyms, so "q.s.l." fits neatly with their alphabet soup surroundings, and qsl was popular and remains so among its serious users, so qsl has for years been on their "to-do" list for subject header troll-bait since qslite became more commonly abbreviated as qsl fifteen years ago (2010)

just a few more examples exhibiting the troll farm's autograph handiwork, e.g. eight years ago with "qsl" in the subject, then today, "qsl" cory@invalid.com
