Hello,
I was helping a couple clients to share iPhone 11 Pro Max's Contact's updated notes (not its other fields and NOT Notes app) into another
iPhone 13's existing Contact via Airdrop. They just wanted to update a contact's notes texts. However, the Airdropped Contacts' note never
showed up. Why? Both iOSes are updated with v18.6.

What behaviour were you expecting? Sharing a contact with no name nor
number would be a blank entry. Where did you want the notes to appear?
Could your clients not sync their contacts?

I told Airdrop to add to an existing contact though.

If there's no number nor name how can there be an "existing" contact? How
do you expect Contacts to be able to match the notes to a name?

I was trying to understand that too, but I took it to mean that there
was an existing contact that matched on both sides of the transfer.

Yes, this. Both have the same names.

But you said that you did not include the name.
