You claim that Apple's support policy is inferior to Android. Today my 6
year old iPad received the iPadOS 18.7.1 security update. So I looked it
up to see how far that support goes back in the iPad line.

    https://thinglabs.io/ipados-18-7-1-is-out-now-what-you-need-to-know

    It covers the following:

    iPadOS 18.7.1 is available for:

    iPad Pro 13rCainch
iPad Pro 12.9rCainch (3rd generation and later)
iPad Pro 11rCainch (1st generation and later)
iPad Air (3rd generation and later)
    iPad (7th generation and later)
iPad mini (5th generation and later)
If your iPad doesnrCOt support iPadOS 26, this update is designed for you.

    "What is included:

    WhatrCOs New in iPadOS 18.7.1
While Apple hasnrCOt disclosed every detail (as is standard with its
security practices), the update focuses on:

Critical security fixes to keep older iPads safe from known vulnerabilities. Stability improvements to ensure smoother performance.
Compatibility updates for apps and services that require the latest
    security standards."

    From other sources:

In addition IPadOS 17.7.10 was also recently released. It covers back to
the iPad 6, now 7 years old.

iPadOS 16.7.12 security update was issued a few weeks ago and covers
models back to iPad 5th generation, now 8 years old.

IPadOS 15 also recently received a security update.

iPadOS is now obsolete, no longer receiving updates.

    Similar updates for iPhones apply.

That is blatantly obvious. He never responds to well documented facts
    that contradict his narrative.
