Thank you for trying to help, Tom. Much appreciated! :-D

Not always, but sometimes, ASC threads are effectively 'behind a
paywall' and it's virtually impossible to read the thread.

See what "etresoft" has to say about matters in this MacForums thread:-

Here is an example of what I mean. There is no need to 'sign-in' to read
    THIS thread:-

    Can anyone explain, please?

Does not matter whether one logs on or does not log on with an Apple ID,
the results should be the same.
    Restricted access or Access denied

But logging on does give one the opportunity to configure their
preferences and disable notifications for useless notifications.

    Tom

I'd be grateful if you would ask "etresoft" what he means in his posts
    here:-

Has he installed a backdoor in the computer being used by imaGG2?

If not, HOW did he come to his conclusion?

    No. imaGG2 = you.

    I'm a Good Guy too! :-D

    Spotted immediately.

    It was deliberate! ;-)
If not, HOW did he come to his conclusion?

    Easy to spot your fingerprints.

I'd like you to explain just HOW you think my fingerprints showed in that
    thread.

For a start, you drawing attention to it here. A new nym with a
meaning you've ascribed to yourself before, and with only one other
instance of thread-participation, jumps in and enthusiastically
recommends CleanMyMac (known as BrickMyMac for a reason) then follows
up with obsequious AI generated replies made it rather clear to me.

I didn't draw attention to it here until AFTER I had been banned. Odd, that!
I do confess that I was, indeed, "fishing" for him though,

    Which he quickly noticed.

*HOW* did it come to his attention? Have you any idea?
but didn't ever use ChatGPT to help me there.

Your AI assisted replies were very obvious in followup posts.

Of course - but they were NOT from ChatGPT

What do you think of THIS post by Mr Daniel?
