Not a mere indicator of which website I am on,
    but the full web address?

Looking on the bottom of the screen?

It will depend on which version of iOS and Safari, or if you're using a diufferent web browser. I haven't tried it, but here's a suggestion
    from Mr Google ...

View Full URL of Links in Safari on iPhone
By default, Safari shows a simplified version of the URL in
the address bar, but you can choose to see the full URL:
    - Tap and hold the URL in the address bar;
    - Choose Show Full Address from the options
    to see the complete URL

How would that be feasible for all but the shortest URLs?

An iPhone's screen isn't very large even when turned sideways, so if
there are any UI elements at all in the same horizontal space, there's
not going to be much for seeing the URL.

I just turned my iPhone horizontally while looking at this page:

    https://www.foxbusiness.com/lifestyle/union-pacific-no...

...well that's where what I was looking at cut off.

That was shown after tapping the URL as if I was about to edit it.

    But!

If at that point you tap and hold the fully selected URL, it will turn
into a text drag-and-drop object, you can then see!

-a-a View Full URL of Links in Safari on iPhone
-a-a By default, Safari shows a simplified version of the URL in
-a-a the address bar, but you can choose to see the full URL:
    -a-a-a-a - Tap and hold the URL in the address bar;

Google gives false information, tapping and holding the
part URL at the bottom the screen only gives the
Safari option to Copy or Paste And Go. Firefox on
iphone also does not have that option, Firefox gives
the beginning of the URL but also doesn't allow seeing
    the full URL.

To see the full URL apparently means having to tap and
    hold and copy to Notes.

Next question, where is the equivalent of command-f
    on iphone?

Being able to do text searches of a current page, not
merely in-app searches, is so useful on the Mac that
apps like iTunes and other apps that don't allow it
cripples the user distinctly. Search a large playlist
for a title on itunes and the in-app search doesn't
show the results in context, like the disabled command-f
    search would.

OR, if URL touched twice, the Cut and Copy options appear. From there
paste into a doc. This from Edge.
