I upgraded my Linux os from 21.3 (I think) to 22.2. It took about 2
hours! I remember the original installation of Linux mint had taken
about a minute or so.
Then when I began using my computer I noticed a few changes:
- the JamesDSP equalizer that I always use for countering my defective
speaker system (very low frequency output) and enhance all high
frequencies is now going off after a few seconds of work either by
itself, or every time I interact with the audio or video I'm watching,
forcing me to get it back up again. This happens a lot and is quite a
problem.
- videos at, the start, first think for a few seconds, then begin.. !
- reaching internet itself also, at the beginning, thinks first and only
then connects.
- when I boot up and the screen for getting my user and pass information
comes up and I enter the password and press the Enter key, I have to
wait about 6 seconds for the computer to respond (as if I have not hit
the Enter key) and get me to the desktop. In the previous version, the response was immediate.
If you know something about these issues and know how to correct them
please reply.
