• Xlibre Working Examples

Here is a link showing actual examples of Xlibre in action.
Note that the first in the list is Gentoo:

    https://github.com/orgs/X11Libre/discussions/211

Thus, Xlibre seems to function well even at this early atage
and it will only get better.

Unfortunately, I cannot install yet on my Gentoo machines because
    all use Nvidia.

Have fun, I guess, you sure do some obscure shit though.

As Xlibre is only a fork I hope the early stage should be exactly the
way it worked "correctly" before the fork. But the reasons behind Xlibre
are just why one can't expect it to become better with time.

Unfortunately, I cannot install yet on my Gentoo machines because
    all use Nvidia.

Yep. Exactly. So your magnificent Gentoo provides you with something unworkable. You don't understand what you promote. You don't realise you
fight people who are helping you and you praise people who don't give a
    damn about you.

The Xlibre has been created not because people on X11 community wanted
it to crash or were jealous of his work. It has been created because the
only one guy behind it didn't care about what happens on other computers.
Every release he provided had side effects and broke things on others
people computers. So the maintainers had to fix the garbage he sent. So,
they were tired of it and banned him.

And the very fact that the fork doesn't work on your computer is the
proof that he doesn't car about your computer. If you want things to
improve, you have only two options. The first is to prove you are as
good a programmer as you pretend, take the fingers out of your arse and
fix it. The second way is to hope that someone with a computer similar
to yours will take care of it. During that time, you can still praise
the one who shits on you and on your computer.

When you criticize Lennart telling that he never care about others.
Which is a lie because from the start, he always took care of systemd
being able to run SysV init scripts to help the transition.

It took me well more time for me to explain why you are wrong than to
you to spread your stupidity. It's exactly the reason why so many people
here believe the shit they heard and are convinced they know better than
me what's happening in my country is: it takes way more time to explain
why something is wrong than to tell a short lie. So short lie spread
faster than reason because people are lazy and they prefer rely to their feelings than to check what they are told.

A fork is not a copy, idiot.

The Xlibre folks already have made a lot of code cleanups and
and have introduced enhanced functionality. Thus, Xlibre may
be expected to have issues when integrated with the established
    distros.

Gentoo, however, is not an "established" distro and, as my
examples demonstrate, Xlibre works very well on Gentoo.

Also, Artix has succeeded in releasing an "established" Xlibre
    distro:

    https://www.reddit.com/r/artixlinux/comments/1lmjp4l/artix_with_xlibre/

All developers are not brainwashed, deluded imbeciles like you
and in time many more will contribute to the success of Xlibre.

Unfortunately, I cannot install yet on my Gentoo machines because
    all use Nvidia.

Yep. Exactly. So your magnificent Gentoo provides you with something unworkable.

Nope. Xlibre introduces a changed ABI (that's "Application Binary
Interface" for an idiot like you) and consequently Nvidia, being
essentially proprietary software, does not or will not make
the necessary changes to their code to accommodate Xlibre.

Even with the the latest Linux kernels Nvidia will sometimes
fail because the Nvidia programmers don't keep pace with the
kernel code. With Xlibre this situation will only be worse.

The Xlibre has been created not because people on X11 community wanted
it to crash or were jealous of his work. It has been created because the
only one guy behind it didn't care about what happens on other computers.

    Wrong again, idiot.

Xlibre was created as a response to the FASCISM of mainstream distros
who want, as they did with systemd, to shove Wayland down everyone's
throat. These FASCISTS want to eliminate choice. Xlibre is here
    to restore choice.

And the very fact that the fork doesn't work on your computer is the
proof that he doesn't car about your computer.

I have not tried to install Xlibre so I don't know if it does or
    does not work.

But because I use Gentoo I have no doubt that it will work -- except
for the Nvidia issue which is not a fault of Gentoo.

If you want things to improve, you have only two options.

Nope. The only option is to shut your stupid mouth from spewing
    falsehoods about Gentoo and Xlibre.

When you criticize Lennart telling that he never care about others.

Poettering is a narcissistic, arrogant asshole that only cares about
    his stupid self.

Examine this image. Is this the way a serious and dignified programmer
    would want to present himself?

    https://www.zdnet.com/a/img/resize/951f427071c3f883e69a5814ec190c03e32f009e/2014/10/20/532dab3f-583e-11e4-b6a0-d4ae52e95e57/lennartpoettering.jpg?auto=webp&width=1280

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! That image is about 20 years behind
the times. That asshole is quite decrepit now.

It took me well more time for me to explain why you are wrong than to
    you to spread your stupidity.

    You have explained nothing.

You can't explain anything because you are a stupid distro lackey
with no knowledge of OS programming or hardware engineering.

    My advice to you:

Use your feeble mainstream distros and shut the fuck up about
    systemd and wayland.

You are not qualified to comment.

You are not qualified so please shut the fuck up.

    Idiot.

Xlibre needs a programmer to integrate with NVIDIA. Better

Unfortunately I do not have the time.

My current project is to maintain the Geomview StageTools module:

    http://www.geomview.org/download/#stagetools

Note that the StageTools link is dead. I do have the source
code and I will soon be opening a project on GitLab (not GitHub)
    to maintain that code.
