    Free download of a classic. Know that it uses Scheme, a Lisp dialect that preceded Common Lisp. I worked my way through the book a long time ago. It
    was interesting conceptually although I kept thinking "Why would anyone
    ever do it that way?"

    There is mit-scheme and a couple of other flavors for Linux. guild might
    work for the examples too.
