If humans lived in ideal harmonic utopia everyone could say whatever
they want to their hearts content with a fierce but very civilised
follow up debate on the merits of what they have said as the only consequence of that speech.
But clearly we do not live in such a world.
Specially not in fascist shitholes like the USA.
Equating "free speech" with openly inciting bitter hate, discrimination
and lethal violence against those one disagrees with leads to the death
of any sort of social cohesion. Stochastic terrorism as it is practised
in theocracies and fascist dictatorships has fuck all to do with any
sort of proper freedoms. "Free speech" absolutism in the USA now amounts
to being only able to say what is on your mind if your crazed MAGAt
overlord censors approve of what you say. Otherwise you get "cancelled",
and often quite physically!
Let us never let this dystopian practice ever take foothold in Australia!
