I've spent days trying to fix it.

Free news servers are running on the smell of an oily rag. AIOE died
ages ago. Paganini goes down for days at a time.

This is just another nail in Usenet's coffin.
Very sad! The non-existent quality of newsgroup posts reflect that sorry
    state of affairs.

Under 50's do not even know of the existence of Usenet let alone know
how to use it. The only reason why it has not yet been shut down for
good are the binary downloads for which there is still quite a
significant demand given the legal and technical issues around torrents.

Yes, Usenet is the only remaining platform for fully uncensored
political posts. The bulk of all social media has been turned into
corporate billionaires' far-right extremist propaganda sewers, where non approved/non-PC posts and posters do not survive for long.
In other words free Internet as a whole now sux extremely bad!

    :-(
