I have seen bronze staues of naked men with shining penisses. I've
    forgotten where.

I've heard of them but not seen any IRL.

    In Prague, perhaps?

I missed that when I was in Prague, although I did see the shiny dog
on the plaque on one of the bridges (virtual geocache).

There was plenty of push-back on the complaints, but yourCOre right, Dublin City
Council is now attempting to reduce the habit (of passers-by rubbing the breasts of the Molly Malone statue), installing flower beds around her. Fragile souls, the complainers.

    Rubbing the 'Dublin Portal'?

Videos circulating online included clips of a man "mooning" and others apparently pretending to take drugs.

A caller to RT|e told of a woman suspected of being under the influence
of alcohol being led away by garda|! (Irish police) after dancing provocatively against the portal screen.

Dublin can be rough. I enjoy visiting, but IrCOm glad not to live there, and thatrCOs one aspect of why.

I think that feeling sculptured art
has always been part of the pleasure of having it.
(The Willendorf Venus was not intended for putting on a pedestal,
    I guess)

    And not just art.
A friend of mine who specialised in things like that
told me long ago that the rare lichens that grow
on the Stonehenge Sarsen stones (the standing ones)
can be found only above about 2.50 m from the ground up,

They may have a point. Is there any historical evidence to support the
idea of semi-nudity in the retail shellfish trade?
