Yamn 4.05 is unreliable, unstable, and doesn't deliver.
Relays ?????? Archiade, Sec3...and chain dirge Yam in pairs doesn't work.
There are three ways to use YAMN under Windows: on the
command line; by using Christian Danner's Omnimix program; ><https://www.danner-net.de/om.htm> or by using Inwtx's
Yamn Remailer Client created by Inwtx Admin ><https://dotfiles.tnetconsulting.net/files/YAMN_Remailer_Client_v0.4.05_%5Bbuild_1322%5D.zip>.
YAMNclient is a client that is used to send email or news group messages with the[end quote]
YAMN remailer system.
See: https://github.com/crooks/yamn
Sent button: This will bring up a window containing the message you have sent.
There is a 'Scrub' button that will scrub the 'saved message' file therein. >Clear button: Clear the main window.
News and Mail buttons: There are templets available to use by clicking on these
buttons, or by clicking on the Templets dropdown box. Right click on these >buttons to edit the templets therein.
Use TOR check box: Check to send message through Tor. Tor must be started and
running externally. Right click on the checkbox or click on the small button to
bring up a panel to enter a Tor port number (AdvOR = 9050; TBB = 9150). AdvOR >is a good Tor client: https://sourceforge.net/projects/advtor/
outfile check box: The message will not be mailed, but will be written to the >pool folder only. When creating a message to the outfile, the chain copies >should =
1. [Ex: Chain: *,*,*;copies=1;]. Right click on top button bar to make this >option visible/invisible.
Send dummy msgs upon Send menu item: Choose to send or not send dummy messages
when sending a message. Right click on top button bar to check or
uncheck this option.
Margin: The message in the main window will be margined to this maximum length
before sending.
R button: This will bring up a window containing the 'Re Format' pairs that are
used to reformat the messages.
W button: This will bring up a window containing words that you have chosen to
flag. If one of these words is found upon clicking the Send button, YAMNclient
will not send the message without further permission. This option is a safeguard
against accidentally sending names, etc that could expose you.
Save post button: When the folder is in the closed position, sent messages will
not be saved. Nothing will be in the 'Sent' button window.
Wrap window button: Word wrap window. When a message is sent, the main window
will revert to no word wrap. The window should revert back to the pre-send >state.
Relay dropdown box: You must choose a relay to send a yamn message. A relay is
a remailer server that will accept and send you message on to an entry
yamn remailer. Right click on the dropdown box to edit the relays therein. >Send button: Click to send a remailer message.
Close button: Click to close YAMNclient. If there are any messages in the >'saved message' file, you will be given a choice to scrub them.
cfg button: This will bring up a window containing the yamn config file. This
file should not be changed unless you know what you are doing. YAMNclient >automatically changes the 'Relay' and 'Outfile' parameters in this file.
Re: Format menu item: To reply to a message, copy the message along with th >headers from your news reader or mail client into the clip board. Then click the
News or Mail button to bring in basic headers. Right click on the main window >and click Re: Format. YAMNclient will attempt to format the copied message for
resending. Open the /system/ClipboardConversion.txt file for additional >conversion instructions.
Special message considerations: If your language uses special characters, you >may need to add these headers to to templet headers provided with YAMNclient: >Mime-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8; format=flowed >Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit

That Yamn client has not been maintained. for some time. Years.
You probably can get it to work, but you will have to update
some of its configuration files. Specifically
yamn.cfg (update the pinger address, removing the defunct cloaked.pw) /System/Relays.txt
/System/NewsHeaders.txt
/System/MailHeaders.txt
