frell's mixmaster is usually a few hours, frell's yamn might be quicker,
but too many variables, length of chain, day of the week(?) . . . there
have been times that frell posts showed up within half an hour, or were delayed by many hours, but overall stats do reflect the current average (seems that weekends tend to be slower, or maybe it just seems that way) . . .

indicate that the whole system was slow for that time.

internet plan has a lower bandwidth capacity. bandwidthplace.com everfastfiber.com
Reasons for Slower Internet on Weekends
Network Congestion
Peak Usage: Weekends often see higher internet usage as more people are home,
streaming, gaming, or using online services. This increased demand can lead to >network congestion.
Contention Ratio: This refers to the number of users sharing the same
bandwidth. Higher contention ratios during weekends can slow down your internet
speed, similar to traffic jams on busy roads.
Technical Issues
Faulty Equipment: If your internet connection is unstable, it could be due to
issues with your modem or cables. Corroded or damaged coaxial cables can worsen
connectivity, especially during high-demand times.
ISP Throttling: Some internet service providers may throttle speeds during peak
times to manage traffic, which can affect your connection on weekends.
Tips to Improve Weekend Internet Speed
Optimize Your Network
Limit Devices: Disconnect devices that are not in use to reduce congestion on
your network.
Use Wired Connections: If possible, connect devices directly to the router with
an Ethernet cable for a more stable connection.
Schedule Usage
Off-Peak Activities: Try to schedule high-bandwidth activities, like large
downloads or streaming, during off-peak hours, such as early morning or late at
night.
By understanding these factors, you can better manage your internet usage and >potentially improve your connection on weekends.
