    This is why you need to make a color copy of your drivers license and
    blank out your birthday, DL number, middle name, day of the license
    expiration date, and any other DL numbers on the license. Only that
    should be given to a hotel, doctor's office, or anyone else who want to
    copy your license. The information on a drivers license is all that is
    needed to steal your identity. A fake license can be made and you life
    is going to be hell after that. You will have to prove yourself
    innocent concerning all the fraud that done in your name.

    Also, don't allow anyone except a drug store to scan the code on the
    back of your license. The code contains every bit of the information
    on the front.
