Resulted in, 'connection NNTP refused or server down' or somesuch. You
have to remove one of the 'Re:'s for the message to post.

Thunderbird sucks.
Server configuration is a mess. And you can't prevent TB from phoning
home for correct mail server configurations, which can be devastating if
you enter a secret .onion address. They get knowledge of every mail
account you use! An option with simple fields to fill in connection >parameters is urgently needed.
