    Tried replying to a thread with double 'Re: Re:'
    Resulted in, 'connection NNTP refused or server down' or somesuch. You
    have to remove one of the 'Re:'s for the message to post.

    Thunderbird sucks.

    Server configuration is a mess. And you can't prevent TB from phoning
    home for correct mail server configurations, which can be devastating if
    you enter a secret .onion address. They get knowledge of every mail
    account you use! An option with simple fields to fill in connection
    parameters is urgently needed.

    the classic 40tude dialog is still the best newsreader, portable, easy
    to setup and use, runs great in windows, best scoring/filtering/script/ search/regx features (overview and non-overview headers for downloaded articles), multiserver, many options . . . works best with omnimix and
    tor/tor browser . . . (i never did like t-bird/b-bird, too complicated)
