    My point is that if Trump sets SUCH strict standards
    even for old Generals then, as C-in-C, he really ought
    to meet those as well. He IS technically the six-star
    general. :-)

    We no longer expect the "king" to ride at the front
    of a battle - the world and war have changed too
    much for that - and we don't expect high-ranking
    generals and admirals to do it either.

    Yea, it'd be great IF 70 year old generals still
    looked like The Rock in his prime, but that' not
    gonna happen.

    My CONCERN is that this new policy will toss out
    too much mil experience/knowledge for relatively
    bogus reasons.

    Trump probably wants newer, younger, MAGA guys to
    be the new generals - crushing the too WokieWimp
    mil that had developed over the past couple of
    decades. To a point we kind of need this now that
    various cold wars have turned warm - gotta be
    ready to kick ass. However more selective criteria
    for who stays and who goes would be much wiser.

    But, oh wait, all you wanted to do was trash Trump
    without ANY consideration of the points/reasons ...

    Where were you in trashing the WokieWimp mil in
    the past ? WANTED it to be WokieWimp ? Vlad and

    He's been doing that from the start. Over and over I've decried the
    dismissal of competence coupled with the placement of loyalists.
