Benito is not my real last name. And I've never claimed it is. >>Another poster in another group made it up. I liked it, so I now useit.
Your LIE via implication that I have claimed, directly or via >>implication, that Benito is my real last name has fed your NEED to

I'm not aware of any software programs that are, or can be,

It's 32 cores, all of them hyperthreaded for 64 "processors" in Linux.
The processor is known as a "threadripper":
Vendor ID: AuthenticAMD
Model name: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970X 32-Core
Processor
I use a lot of processors when running a game with obs-studio and other supporting programs, as well as anything else that might be running at
the time.
I use all of them when compiling Linux. "make -j 64" tells make to use
as many cores as necessary to compile dependencies -- up to 64 of them.

he's accidentally admitted a few times. But he's not limited to 300
baud dial-up.
what kind of chip you have there -- a Dorito?"
Jenny's machine is so out of date he can only use Outlook Express
to read and post to Usenet. And it's so old, it can't even use MS Word
for a spell checker. Or, maybe, it technically can, but he screwed up
something in the Windows Settings negating its ability.
Kind of sad. But he spends all his money on fast food. He's
bragged that he spends $120/day ($40/visit) on fast food. Sometimes
$160, if he gets "Fourth Meal" from Taco Bell. His SSDI only gives him
so much each month, so choices must be made. This means he's stuck with
his outdated computer.
You must have missed my post. Here it is.

Just fucking upgrade to a modern machine.
My machine is modern "enough".
Would you like to see how many cores my CPU has?
Who cares?
You do. You wouldn't have replied if you didn't.
You may not care much, but you do care enough to reply.

Jenny?
Hey, what gives?
You asked about that, and I answered. I'll bump the post
so you can see it.

I'm not aware of any software programs that are, or can be,
optimized for 63 cores.
It's 32 cores, all of them hyperthreaded for 64 "processors" in Linux.
The processor is known as a "threadripper":
Vendor ID: AuthenticAMD
Model name: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970X 32-Core
Processor
I use a lot of processors when running a game with obs-studio and other
supporting programs, as well as anything else that might be running at
the time.
I use all of them when compiling Linux. "make -j 64" tells make to use
as many cores as necessary to compile dependencies -- up to 64 of them.
"so you think your C=64 is pretty neato?
The Commodore 64 was pretty good for its time. It might be fun to
play with now for those who used one in the 80's. A bit of nostalgia.
But Jenny's machine isn't that old. It's seriously out dated, as
he's accidentally admitted a few times. But he's not limited to 300
baud dial-up.
