Everyone reading can see how you screw up your machine and the
program you use, Outlook Express, to access Usenet.
On the plus side, you're no longer five days off on the date
listed for your posts. Clearly you corrected whatever you screwed up
    with the date setting(s).

YOU are the one experiencing/reporting the problem's.

What does your NEED to lie make you LIE and claim problem owns?
Everyone who has commented has reported the same problem with
your clock. It's not realistic to think everyone else has the exact
same problem while your computer is set perfectly.

    That means, the
    problem is on YOUR end.

When EVERYONE who comments expresses the same issue with your
posts, it is on YOUR end. Not even you, with your very real NEED to
lie, would try to claim everyone has the exact same issue with their
computers that only manifest with your posts.
You screwed up the settings for the time/date on your computer. Fortunately AFF-F has a small enough number of posters that your time
doesn't really make following a thread as difficult as it could be.
And now you're only off by a matter of minutes, not days. So you were
able to restore whatever you messed up with your computer's date.

[Cue Jenny running away from the truth. Or diverting from it.]

We're talking about Microsoft Outlook Express here!
While Usenet isn't as active as it was back in the 90s, it's
still active. And your machine is vulnerable to those who know how to
    exploit the problems.
FWIW, I lack the requisite knowledge to take over your machine
via the vulnerabilities. But that doesn't mean there isn't someone on
Usenet who can. And you could come across those who can.

Cybercriminals actively seek out and exploit
    weaknesses in unsupported software.

Well after 25+ year's they haven't gotten me yet.

Are you 100% certain? For all you know, when you're not actively
using your machine, it could be doing all sorts of nasty stuff.

Known Exploits: Many vulnerabilities in Outlook Express are
well-documented and widely known. This makes it an easy target for
attackers who can use these known exploits to gain unauthorized access

    Not anymore, anyway :)

Outdated Protocols: It may not fully support modern, more secure email

    Again, this is USENET.

Again, Outlook Express is an E-MAIL client that can read and post
    to Usenet.

Operating System Incompatibility: Outlook Express was bundled with
older versions of Windows (like Windows XP). It's not designed to run
on modern operating systems (Windows 10, 11, or macOS)

Not an Issue, I'm not running windows 10, 11 or mac OS>

You're using Windows XP, Vista or 8? Support for each ended a
LONG time ago. You can't even get an up-to-date antivirus for them.
Someone could be using your machine to do all kinds of things.
While not as efficient as a modern machine, beggars can't be choosers.
I don't know if any firewalls are still supported for legacy OSes, but
if so, make certain you get and use the most recent one possible. If
you're already making use of one, then this is a moot point.

    Modern Email Service Incompatibility:

    Again, this is USENET.

    Ibid.

    Feature Limitations:

It has all the features I needed and need to post to usenet.

Yet you can't format proper attributions. Odd.

    3. Performance and Reliability:

    Instability and Crashes:

instance of you feeding your NEED to lie, or is the claim above the
one feeding your NEED to lie? I'll accept either answer, though you
will surely run away from the truth you HATE.

Data Loss Risk: Older software can be more susceptible to data

    That's actually a benefit.

How so? If you don't like Microsoft, why not use a Mac? Or a
    Linux Distro?

    Limited Community Help:

I would be the one PROVIDING the help to the community, becosue I am an >expert in this software.

But you aren't. You PROVE above you lack basic understanding of
the application. You claim the help file equates to support and/or
    resources.
If you are an expert, explain why you whined and cried for me to
tell you what settings to restore to allow you to quote correctly. And
why you ran away from the matter when I pointed out I don't know what
you changed, so I can't know what you need to restore.
And why did you screw up OE's settings to start with, if you're
an expert? No genuine expert would mess up the default settings in a
way that results in a negative. If they were to change something,
experts would document the alteration to ensure they can be restored
if necessary. Someone who doesn't have a clue, but NEEDS to lie and
claim to be an expert, will mess with the default settings and not
have a clue what s/he has done. So, basically, you.

Since Jenny is using Win XP, Vista or 8 (I don't want to
entertain the idea he's still on 95), WebP may be too advanced for his
machine. If he has a separate GPU, it can't handle the encoding of

I like how he lies and claims our computers are "old" but he uses
    Outlook Express to tell us.

Outlook express was a perfectly powerful program in the 90's

It was acceptable. OE was only intended to be an E-mail client.
It was able to handle Usenet, which is why many used it.

    Jenny?

    and it still is
    today.

It's outdated. It can't even decode yEnc files. Though with the >>extreme decline in binary group use, this isn't as big an issue as it
    was in the mid 2000's.
Microsoft ceased supporting it a very long time ago. It's now >>vulnerable to all kinds of hacks and malware. No one with an once of >>concern for security will use it now.

Jenny? Your default admission that you're so STUPID, you don't have
even an once of concern for security is noted.

    Kwills,

Who is that? It's SIMILAR to my former nym, but unless you're
feeding your NEED to lie, it can't be that.

how many yEnc files has been posted to alt.fast-food in the last 20
    year's?

What does your NEED to lie make you LIE and claim year owns?
According to Usenet Archive, 7 yEnc files has been posted to the
group in the past 10 years. More would have been in the past 20.

    https://www.usenetarchives.com/

Now what LIE(S) will you offer? I'm honestly excited to learn.

Wrong, as you almost always are.

Using Outlook Express in today's digital landscape comes with
significant drawbacks, primarily due to it being an outdated and
unsupported software. Microsoft officially discontinued support for
Outlook Express years ago, which means it no longer receives crucial
    updates, patches, or security fixes.

Here's a breakdown of the key drawbacks:

    1. Critical Security Vulnerabilities:

Security drawback's? We're talknig about USENET here.

We're talking about Microsoft Outlook Express here!
While Usenet isn't as active as it was back in the 90s, it's
still active. And your machine is vulnerable to those who know how to
    exploit the problems.

And anybody care's? I'm sure these hackers have moved on to biger and
    better thing's like hacking cellphone's.

I know you're behind the times, but five days is ridiculous.

Klous, listen to me VERY CAREFULLY for a minute. The Time that >>>>>>>appears on my messge? That's the time that I WROTE THE MESSAGE, NOT >>>>>>>THE TIME THAT YOU READ IT.

    It's neither, Jenny.

    Yes, it is.

    It's neither, Jenny. It's your fuckup.\

No, It isn't. My computer is running just fine. I would know.. I'm
sitting right in front of it. You are NOT.

YOU are the one experiencing/reporting the problem's. That means, the
    problem is on YOUR end.

    Wrong again, Poindexter.

    For your last post:

Your clock is off by several minutes.

And I ALREADY EXPLIANED that the time on the message's

TIME AKA THE TIME YOU READ THE MESSAGE.

It is a pity you don't know how Usenet works or what information
is included in the headers. If you had any clue, you might be able to understand. Sadly, your profound learning disability means you cannot
learn it. Or you have learned it and are lying.

It is EXPECETED to be a delay in between, becouse

That's not what Frank wrote about. And you know it.
Again you feed your NEED to lie. Prove me wrong, unless you want

Outlook express was a perfectly powerful program in the 90's and it >>>>>still

    today.

    ROFLMAO

And your machine is vulnerable to those who know how to >>exploit the problems.
FWIW, I lack the requisite knowledge to take over your machine
via the vulnerabilities. But that doesn't mean there isn't someone on >>Usenet who can. And you could come across those who can.

    Jenny?

Cybercriminals actively seek out and exploit
    weaknesses in unsupported software.

Well after 25+ year's they haven't gotten me yet.

Are you 100% certain? For all you know, when you're not actively
using your machine, it could be doing all sorts of nasty stuff.

    Jenny?

Known Exploits: Many vulnerabilities in Outlook Express are
well-documented and widely known. This makes it an easy target for
attackers who can use these known exploits to gain unauthorized access >>>> to your system, steal sensitive data,

I don't have sensitive data on my machine.

    Not anymore, anyway :)

    Jenny?

Outdated Protocols: It may not fully support modern, more secure email >>>> protocols and encryption standards,

    Again, this is USENET.

Again, Outlook Express is an E-MAIL client that can read and post
    to Usenet.

    Jenny?

    Jenny?

    Modern Email Service Incompatibility:

    Again, this is USENET.

    Ibid.

    Jenny?

    Feature Limitations:

It has all the features I needed and need to post to usenet.

Yet you can't format proper attributions. Odd.

    Jenny?

    3. Performance and Reliability:

    Instability and Crashes:

Never crashed on my well-maintained computer, not even once. NEXT

I recall you being absent for a few months because, according to
you, your computer crashed and you lost all data. Was that another
instance of you feeding your NEED to lie, or is the claim above the
one feeding your NEED to lie? I'll accept either answer, though you
will surely run away from the truth you HATE.

Note Jenny (Jerry) DID run away from the truth he HATES, admitting, by
    default, that he was lying.

Data Loss Risk: Older software can be more susceptible to data
    corruption,

It's usenet. If this was to happen, I just need to re-download the >>>message's

What does your NEED to lie make you claim message owns?

    Jenny?

    fromt

    What is, "fromt?"

    Jenny?

    eh

    "Take off, eh!"
    -- Doug McKenzie

Aw, come on. That was worth a groan, at the very least.

    server.

    Inefficient, but it would work.

    Jenny?

Manual Backup: Unlike modern clients with automatic backup options,
Outlook Express often requires manual backup,

Anybody whose not a fucking retard can do a manual backup.

So you can't do a manual backup. Got it.

Note Jenny has given the default admission he is, as HE worded it, a
    'fucking retard.'

    4. Lack of Support and Resources:

It has an actual help file. Unlike modern software that you have to access >>>the web or use useless AI help.

Help files are NOT support and/or resources.

    Jenny?

    No Microsoft Support:

    That's actually a benefit.

How so? If you don't like Microsoft, why not use a Mac? Or a
    Linux Distro?

    Jenny?

You can get Linux Mint, which has a look and feel similar to
Windows. And it's far more secure than Windows XP, Vista or 7.
    Whichever one you're actually using.

    Limited Community Help:

I would be the one PROVIDING the help to the community, becosue I am an >>>expert in this software.

But you aren't. You PROVE above you lack basic understanding of
the application. You claim the help file equates to support and/or >>resources.

    Jenny?

If you are an expert, explain why you whined and cried for me to
tell you what settings to restore to allow you to quote correctly. And
why you ran away from the matter when I pointed out I don't know what
you changed, so I can't know what you need to restore.

    Jenny?

And why did you screw up OE's settings to start with, if you're
an expert? No genuine expert would mess up the default settings in a
way that results in a negative. If they were to change something,
experts would document the alteration to ensure they can be restored
if necessary. Someone who doesn't have a clue, but NEEDS to lie and
claim to be an expert, will mess with the default settings and not
have a clue what s/he has done. So, basically, you.

Note that Jenny (Jerry) has admitted, by default, that he is NOT an
expert. And that his claim to be one was, and is, nothing more than
his feeding his NEED to lie.

[Cue Jenny running away from the truth. Or diverting from it.]

Note that Jenny (Jerry) did EXACTLY as I said he would. Of course,
predicting that is like predicting that fire is hot.

    And anybody care's?

What does your deep NEED to lie force you to LIE and claim care
    owns?

I'm sure these hackers have moved on to biger and
    better thing's

What does your deep NEED to lie force you to LIE and claim thing
    owns?

    like hacking cellphone's.

What does your deep NEED to lie force you to LIE and claim cell
phone owns? As you KNOW, cell phone is two words.

    [Crickets]

They're hacking unsecured computer programs to gain access. This
allows them to use the machines as zombie crypto miners, or other
    malicious acts like Ransomware.
It's possible your machine is being used to make someone a bit
more wealthy when it's on. True, your machine alone wouldn't be able
to do it. Heck, mine wouldn't and it's less than a year old and while
not "top of the line" now, it's still far superior to yours. But your
machine can be made to be part of a mining pool.
It's beyond my abilities to find out, of course. You would need
to check. But, as you consistently PROVE, you are too stupid to know
how to. And using an Operating System as out of date as yours (unless
you LIED and you are using either Windows 10 [1] or 11) means there
are no AV/AM definitions available to you, presuming you have any anti-virus/anti-malware programs.
If your machine is acting up in any way, you will need to do a
low-level disk format. I don't know if there are any applications
still available for a system as old as yours (unless you lied when you
claimed not to use Windows 10 or 11), but it may be worth a search
    using your favorite search engine.
Download one and store it on a USB drive, or burn the ISO to
disk. Then you will have it if or, as will more probably be the case,
    when it's needed.

[1] Support for Windows 10 ends in mid October, 2025. You'll want to
upgrade to 11 if you're still using 10. If your machine's hardware
won't be able to run Win11, you can buy a new machine, or get 'Tiny 11
NTDEV,' which will work on the majority of Win10 machines.
    You're welcome.

[Cue Jenny running away from the truth. Or diverting from it.]

You don't have to use "Google's shit," you moron. And there is nobody >complaining about a format introduced FOURTEEN years ago.

    Only you.

Because his set up is too old.
I didn't know WebP is 14 years old. This means the most recent OS
Jenny is using is Windows Millennium. No wonder he has so many
    negative issues with his computing.
And Google cease all of its support for WinMe's browser BEFORE
the WebP format was developed. Explorer was a TERRIBLE browser with no
real security, so Google ceased trying to do anything to help it.
This means Jenny can NEVER see a WebP file. It also means he's
super vulnerable to any number of hacks.

    [Side note to Jenny:
If you are using MS Explorer, STOP! See if a legacy edition of
Firefox is available. Probably Firefox 1.0.1. It will still be
out-of-date, but it will be more secure. Make those hackers put in as
much work as possible to use your machine for whatever purpose. Though
it's likely too late and your machine is already part of a crypto
    mining pool.]

Try getting a job and getting a newer computer.

Getting a job for longer than the 'Trial Work Period,' and he
could lose part or all of his SSDI. If, after the TWP he makes as
little as $1620 a month, his benefits are reduced or eliminated. And
Jenny needs all he can get to afford his $120/day, $160 if he gets
"Fourth Meal," (according to Jenny) fast food expenses. This presumes
he was being honest when he claims he spends $40 per visit to fast
food places, and that he does go three times a day (four when he gets
    Taco Bell's Fourth Meal).
This helps explain why Jenny can't keep employment for more than
a few months. He has to quit, or get fired, so that he continues to
get SSDI, which is probably more than the $1620 cutoff limit. He then
waits however long is required, then gets a job for a bit so that he
can spend more on fast food, until the TWP ends, then the cycle starts
    again.

Oh and BTW since this isn't a binarie's newsgroup, it really isn't a issue >>what Outlook express's alledged limitation's are when it comes to WebP

Then why are you crying like a little school girl about it?

When he first cried about WebP, it was in regards to an image you
linked to on a web site. He claimed people couldn't see it.
Any Windows OS from 8 on can view WebP. At least with Edge and
Chrome. I didn't look into Firefox or WaterFox. Not that it matters.
If his edition of Windows is 14ish years old, at the newest, he's
using Windows Me, which can't view them. He is limited to Microsoft
Internet Explorer 6, SP1 (at best). And, as he's already proved, he's
limited to Outlook Express 6. If he saved the security update for SP1,
he has that for both. But I don't see Jenny having the foresight to
save any security updates. Not that it will matter. Both are so
out-of-date they're basically open even with SP1 updates.
