    I understand the law is the law, but this is just STUPID!
    Employees get *LESS THAN* $200 each. The lawyers get $305,000.00?
    This was NEVER about protecting the employees. It was a cash grab for
    the law firm. Nothing more.

    I'm sure they were told. And all but one were fine with getting
    paid every two weeks. And the one who took issue only did so when she
    was "laid-off."
    I suspect she was actually fired, but the term laid-off was used
    to make it look better for her. A lay-off, while not pleasant, isn't
    something anyone would get mad over. Especially in fast food. Leave
    one restaurant and go to the next one. Her next job could have been a
    block or two away.

    I agree. Fortunately, the applicable law has been changed, so no
    one else will have to go through it.
