• Send in TB version 143.0

How do I make the send button the default on my TB installation.

The default on my installation of TB 143 is to show a compose window
with no menu bars. This means there is no send button.

How do I change it so the Compose and Menu toolbars are the default.

It clicked them in the right click menu, and they appear to have stuck
when it closed TB and reopened it. I don't have time right now to
restart Windows to see if it is still there.

Do you think Thunderbird continues to run after you quit it?

I have two programs which sometimes do that, both show symptoms before I
close them and if I see those symptoms, I run a script which tells me
what processes those two are (still) running.
Neither is Thunderbird (because I don't use it) and this is under Linux anyway.

If parts are running they do not show up in the Task Manager

Under Linux, processes cannot hide from you.
