• Thunderbird and Auto deleteing old mail

    Good day!

Win 10 Pro PC fully updated.
    Firefox 140.3.0

In the Gmail- Server Settings I have...
Leave messages on server. Ticked On.
For at most 5 days. Ticked on.

But my test mails of now 11 days, are still showing on the server side
    when I login to Gmail.

Is there something else I should be configuring in Tb to get these to auto delete after n days?

    Thanks
    D.

I'm using IMAP with Gmail, you don't say what you are using.
However my mail stays 90 days, and I saw that someplace on gmail's web interface that that
is the norm. I personally would like to extend it further like 180 but then anything I
    want I copy to LocalFolders.

Brain fart of the nth order.. apologies. :-)

My posting should have been in the Thunderbird newsgroup, not Firefox.
