Is it my imagination or does the list of all downloads only go back 2
months? I've never cleared the list.

My list (current FF) goes back 3 months.

BTW, It's 2 weeks until the scheduled release of the last version of FF
that works on Windows 7.

I've been checking my download list. A few days ago when this was posted, I had all the
way back to May 6. 3 months +1 day (calendar wise). Now today the Aug 8, I only go back
to May 7th. Still 3 months +1 day, but I lost the May 6 download.

So it looks like it dynamically deletes. I looked through about:config for any '90' or
'download' or 'history', stuff like that, but found none.

That's very depressing. The download history file is (or at least it
used to be) very valuable. It would only take a few bytes to save all
this, certainly in my case, and they don't warn you. I wonder if the
writers know what they've done. I'd like to believe they don't but I'm
no longer that optimistic. .

Download log is part of history. But an add-on might be needed to
remember history forever.
