Have a look at <https://www.zdnet.com/>. Click the rCLsee all latestrCY
button near the bottom. Notice how the URL changes to something ending
in rCL/3/rCY. Try clicking rCLload morerCY. Does anything further happen for you? It doesnrCOt for me. Repeated clicking remains futile.

Refresh the page. The URL remains unchanged, but now the rCLload morerCY
    button works.

You can also start with an explicit page URL, e.g. ending in rCL/1/rCY or rCL/2/rCY, and that works, too. But not the home page.

There is extra backstroke in the URL <https://www.zdnet.com/latest/4//>:

Change it to: <https://www.zdnet.com/latest/4/> and it works.

You need to do this for all URLs if you want to see their stories or you
can report this to their webmaster. I don't see anyway to contact any of
their tech staff. Jason Hiner has hidden their contact details.

As Jack <Jack@invalid.invalid> already mentioned, this is a failure
    of that website.

No need to test that. That's *no* problem related to Mozilla Firefox
in any way. So please stop posting off topic stuff.

    His diagnosis was wrong.

I hit the link with "//" at the end, it auto-matically got redirected to
the one without "//"! Using Firefox!
