You can always reclaim any unauthorised charges made to your credit
card. This has been the case for years. Even in the old days when people
used to order goods over the phone by providing only their card number
and expiry date. The retail clerk would enter these details manually to
obtain authorisation before dispatching the goods. If the goods were dispatched to an address that did not belong to the cardholder, the
credit card company would claim the money back from the retailer.
