"When Merrick Garland and Lisa Monaco took over DOJ, the first thing
they did was open an investigation into the president for Jan 6.

When Matthew Graves became DC U.S. attorney, the first thing he did was
    indict Steve Bannon." - J Kelly, X

The first went nowhere, not that I think that is the correct outcome.

Steve Bannon, a long-time ally of President Donald Trump, has pleaded
guilty to defrauding donors who paid for a private scheme for a wall
    on the US-Mexico border.

Bannon, 71, received a sentence of conditional discharge for three
years, which means he will not serve jail time under a plea agreement.

Steve pleaded guilty, so I guess you can't argue that he was
    politically targeted.

You of course want to say that himbo's recent indictments of political
foes can be excused because of past indictments in other
administrations. No deal. You guys never learn the waddaboudery
    lesson. No deal. Learn it.

Of using lawfare to make specious charges against former presidents to
keep them from running again. And lying under oath to do the same. They failed. Now they get to pay the price.

You see, your assessment of what happened does not stand. They did
not fail. They simply decided to let it go because it was clear that
himbo support rallies to such assertions as you made. Are motivated
by such accusations as you made.

The cases never got to court. So, there is no determination at this
    point of himbo's guilt.

Only your assertions based upon which you assert that himbo's recent
attempts to prosecute adversaries on baseless grounds are justified.

Deterence indeed. Don't disagree with him, don't hold him accountable
for what he does or else.
