so there's the thing in the theory of computing where the halting
paradox prevents us from having a general decider on the matter...
called the halting problem.
i'm tryin to fix that really, by building a general theory of meta- computing that can allow us to /effectively compute/ around problems specifically like the halting paradox, bringing the problem of computing
the semantics of a program into the realm of both theoretical analysis
and real world computability, and agreement on the matter.
like instead of testing a programming i want to be able to write
descriptive proofs on the matter of what my code does, not just test
cases ...

The first thing to do would be to get a hold of or build a fast desktop computer. And a desk to put it on. For the build, you can refer to my
post entitled How to build a PC. Check with Creon or Noah for the
software and programming details. Let me know how it's going.

You kind of have to be a genius to find us here on the internet. Good work!
Keep in mind, this isn't a conversation with normal people, Nick.
Imagine sitting around a kitchen table with strangers, and one guy says >nothing for days after once piping up with a rumor. One guy totally
ignores you, like you weren't even there. Another guy shouts obscenities

True. I have the latest version of an old time newsreader which could
do emoji's if I wanted, but I don't want. Emoji's are like
exclamation points. Writers don't use them. You can put all the
emphasis in the wording that you need. Same thing with emoji's.

Every message I've posted on Usenet is on my computer where I composed
it using Edit Pad. No serious news informant uses an iPhone app to
