Next up, AI has orgasm. Well, Futurism might not be the best place to
look for real news, but still, the appeal for the human imagination
remains. Why would we want to think such a thing?

Let's ask Stephen King why he comes up with his horror inspirations.

Why? He wants to pay the rent and for groceries and hair dos for his
wife.
Where? I suspect Stevie doesn't need any help with that.

Stephen King writes well and tells a very good story. I'm re-reading an older one of his right now called "Billy Summers". No horror in it.
From AI
King writes to make himself happy. If he makes others happy at the same time, that is a bonus. King has said this repeatedly in forwards and afterwards in many of his books.
So there!

You should watch the movie (a classic) "Stand By Me". It's kind of a coming of
age tale and is about a period of time when King was 12 years old. He was writing stories even then.

No doubt. I heard one time that he read a horror story and thought, I
can do that, so he did.
Anyway, my point was that he does not need any help from ai.

The question was "Why would we want to think such a thing" as AI having
an orgasm and why the appeal for the human imagination remains? Maybe
Stephen King could explain.

an orgasm and why the appeal for the human imagination remains? Maybe
Stephen King could explain.
In Heinlein's _The Moon is a Harsh Mistress_, the computer, "Mike", has
an experience and tells his friend Manny about it, saying now he knows
what "orgasms" must feel like.
Mike was also capable of generating photo-realistic deep
fakes of himself on telescreens.
That was a long stretch from some of his earlier books, where
the computers could only read off their results in binary.
