Several states have consistently high crime rates: Louisiana, New
Mexico, and Alaska are frequently cited as having high rates of
    violent crime.

Other states frequently mentioned in the top ten for crime include
Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri, and Nevada.

Trump is going after crime. Democrats better get a winning message, and

Even if he only claims success without making any real difference. The
fact is that Himbo has no real jurisdiction over cities, except that
he assumes it and people are starting to simply accept that.

The majority of Americans are in favor of reducing crime. The cities
with rampant crime should welcome any help they can get.

    What are they hiding?

Denial makes some Mayors look like they into a coverup of being soft on
crime. That's not a winning message for Democrats.

Everyone knows crime is rampant in our large cities like DC, Baltimore
and New York. Time to get real - denial is not a river in Egypt.

Who sez? Anyway, I would suggest that the way to fight crime is not
to take criminal actions yourself, which in this case would be to take
    over the cities federally.

Could be. So is federal take over of local law enforcement.
