• Demonology: a 'possession' theory of violent crime

Progressive / Woke ideology implies individuals lack full agency in
choosing to rob and kill. Rather, it's economic inequality that brings
an evil spirit which possesses the criminal, hijacking him to commit
crimes. The possessed is therefore not truly responsible for his
actions, and has no culpability for what the demon did when puppeteering
    him.

On this theory, throwing a criminal in jail at best does no good, and is probably unjust because they are victims. Incarceration will never solve
the problem of crime as long as inequality exists, because the demon
    will just possess someone else.

This is what libertarians like to pretend about progressive (which
does not in any way equal woke even you like to pretend it does).

In fact incarceration does not solve crime otherwise it would have
been solved long ago, when the first arab tore strips of skin off the
back of his first murderer, or chopped the hand off of his first
    thief.

It is also true that removing inequality would do a lot. You cannot
blame people who have nothing for wanting to eat, no matter how much
those who have plenty want to imagine they can. If you cut off his
hand, he will still be hungry, and use the hand he has left. If you
chop off both hands he will use his foot or his teeth, until he is
dead. Too bad the day never comes when all who have nothing are dead.
