I don't see that in my news this morning, but then I refuse to read
nbc or similar. Regardless, this does not mean that the suit was
frivolous, or should not have been brought, or that Letitia is in any
way at fault for doing so. It might simply be that the us legal
system has worked and done its job, or possibly not.

Ha, here is the skinny, from the NY Times,

"Court Overturns TrumpAs Half-Billion Judgment, but Upholds Fraud Case
The New York appeals panel agreed that the fine in President TrumpAs
civil fraud case was excessive, handing him a financial victory."

Not that himbo is innocent or anything, but $500 mil is too much. I
guess, I can leave that to the judges to decide.

So thanks for doing you job letitia.

Letitia James, lawfare. What was she thinking?

A clear case of rCyselectiverCO prosecution. Everyone doing business in the
Big Apple inflates property values. An outrageously excessive fine >>>>>> thrown out.

Sorry, but you flunked out of law school, if you attended even one
    day.

We studied this in junior college: U.S. Government 101

There are constitutional protections against severe punishment.

You don't have to be even a law clerk to know that $500 mill is over
the top. Obviously, it's a case of selective prosecution in order for
Leticia to look like a big shot and get attention.

Instead, now she looks like a clown, at least in the court and in the
    media.

What was she thinking? That a huge award would bring down Trump's Tower? >>>
Yes, more or less. The plan was to force him to sell.

Prosecution of the Trump Company in this case probably cost the NY
taxpayer millions of dollars, with nothing to show for it. Obviously,
she should be replaced. A clear case of abuse of power.

Wrong. They have a conviction to show for it. Good job.

The bankers who were the recipients of the allegedly fraudulent Trump Company's building valuations said that they were not defrauded and
would do business with him again, any time.

The sad fact is, NYC juries are too biased to administer justice.

Oh dear god, an entire city is unable to discern a little bit of
justice after it has been forced to them.

On the other hand you have half the country that does not know better
