Jeremiah 16

The Day of Disaster

1 The word of the Lord came also to me, saying:
2 (1Co 7:26-27) You shall not take a wife, nor shall you have sons
or daughters in this place.
3 For thus says the Lord concerning the sons and concerning the daughters
who are born in this place, and concerning their mothers who bore them,
and concerning their fathers who fathered them in this land:
4 (Jer 25:33; Ps 83:10; Jer 9:22) They will die of deadly diseases.
They will not be lamented, nor shall they be buried. But they will be as dung upon the face of the ground. And they will be consumed by the sword
and by famine. And their carcasses will be food for the fowl of heaven
and for the beasts of the earth.
5 (Eze 24:16-23; Isa 27:11) For thus says the Lord: Do not enter a house
of mourning, nor go to lament or bemoan them; for I have taken away
My peace from this people, says the Lord, even lovingkindness and mercy.
6 (Lev 19:28; Dt 14:1) Both the great and the small will die in this land.
They will not be buried; neither will men lament for them, cut themselves,
nor make themselves bald for them.
7 (Eze 24:17; Hos 9:4) Neither will men tear themselves for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead; nor will men give them the cup of consolation
to drink for their father or for their mother.
8 (Ecc 7:2-4; Jer 15:17) Also you shall not go into the house of feasting,
to sit with them to eat and to drink.
9 (Jer 7:34; Eze 26:13) For thus says the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel:
I will cause to cease out of this place, before your eyes and in your days,
the voice of laughter and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride.
10 (Jer 5:19; 13:22)And when you tell this people all these words,
and they say to you, "Why has the Lord pronounced all this great disaster against us? Or what is our iniquity? Or what is our sin that we have committed against the Lord our God?"
11 (Ps 106:35-41; Dt 29:25-26) then you shall say to them:
Because your fathers have forsaken Me, says the Lord,
and have walked after other gods and have served them
and have worshipped them, but have forsaken Me and have not kept My law.
12 (Jer 13:10; 7:26; Ecc 9:3) And you have done worse than your fathers,
for here you are, each one walking after the imaginations of his evil heart
so that they do not listen to Me.
13 (Dt 28:36; Jer 17:4; Dt 4:26-28) Therefore I will cast you out of this land into a land that you do not know, neither you nor your fathers;
and there you will serve other gods day and night because
I will not show you favour.

[1] The word of the LORD came also unto me, saying,
[2] Thou shalt not take thee a wife, neither shalt thou have sons or
daughters in this place.
[3] For thus saith the LORD concerning the sons and concerning the daughters that are born in this place, and concerning their mothers that bare them,
and concerning their fathers that begat them in this land;
[4] They shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented; neither shall they be buried; but they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth:
and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their carcases shall be meat for the fowls of heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.
[5] For thus saith the LORD, Enter not into the house of mourning, neither
go to lament nor bemoan them: for I have taken away my peace from this
people, saith the LORD, even lovingkindness and mercies.
[6] Both the great and the small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them:
[7] Neither shall men tear themselves for them in mourning, to comfort them
for the dead; neither shall men give them the cup of consolation to drink
for their father or for their mother.
[8] Thou shalt not also go into the house of feasting, to sit with them to
eat and to drink.
[9] For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will
cause to cease out of this place in your eyes, and in your days, the voice
of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the
voice of the bride.
[10] And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath the LORD pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that
we have committed against the LORD our God?
[11] Then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the LORD, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law;
[12] And ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every
one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto
me:
[13] Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that ye know
not, neither ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day
and night; where I will not shew you favour.

God Will Restore Israel

14 (Dt 15:15; Jer 23:7-8) Therefore, surely the days are coming,
says the Lord, that it will no longer be said, "As the Lord lives,
who brought up the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt,"
15 (Jer 24:6; 3:18) but, "As the Lord lives, who brought up the sons
of Israel from the land of the north and from all the lands wherever
He had driven them." And I will bring them again into their land that
I gave to their fathers.
16 (Am 4:2; 1Sa 26:20) Now, I will send for many fishermen, says the Lord,
and they shall fish for them; andafterwards I will send for many hunters,
and they will hunt them from every mountainand from every hill
and out of the holes of the rocks.
17 (Pr 15:3; 2Ch 16:9) For My eyes are upon all their ways; they are not
hidden from My face, nor is their iniquity hidden from My eyes.
18 (Isa 40:2; Jer 2:7) First I will doubly recompense their iniquity
and their sin, because they have defiled My land; they have filled
My inheritance with the carcasses of their detestable and abominable things.
19 (Isa 25:4; Ps 18:1-2) O Lord, my strength and my fortress,
and my refuge in the day of affliction,
the nations will come to You
from the remote parts of the earth, and will say:
Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity,
and things in which there is no profit.
20 (Isa 37:19; Ps 115:4-8) Shall a man make gods for himself,
which are not gods?
21 (Jer 33:2; Ps 9:16) "Therefore, surely I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know
My hand and My might;
and they shall know
that My name is the Lord."

[14] Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more
be said, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
[15] But, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the
land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers.
[16] Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the LORD, and they shall
fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks. [17] For mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes.
[18] And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double;
because they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with
the carcases of their detestable and abominable things.
[19] O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth,
and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.
[20] Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they are no gods?
[21] Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause
them to know mine hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is
The LORD.

Jeremiah 17

Judah's Sin and Punishment

1 (Pr 3:3; 2Co 3:3) The sin of Judah is written with an iron pen
and with a diamond point;
it is engraved on the tablet of their heart
and on the horns of their altars;
2 (2Ch 24:18; Jer 2:20) as they remember their children,
so they remember their altars
and their groves by the green trees
on the high hills.
3 (Jer 15:13; 2Ki 24:13) O My mountain in the field,
I will give your wealth
and all your treasures to the destroyer,
and your high places
for sin throughout all your borders.
4 (Jer 15:14; 7:20; 16:13) You, even yourself, will discontinue
from your heritage that I gave you;
and I will cause you to serve your enemies
in the land which you do not know;
for you have kindled a fire in My anger
which will burn forever.
5 (2Ch 32:8; Isa 2:22) Thus says the Lord:
Cursed is the man who trusts in man
and makes flesh his strength,
and whose heart departs from the Lord.
6 (Dt 29:23; Jer 48:6) For he will be like a bush in the desert
and will not see when good comes,
but will inhabit the parched places in the wilderness,
in a salt land and not inhabited.
7 (Ps 34:8; 2:12) Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
and whose hope is the Lord.
8 (Ps 1:3; Eze 47:12) For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters,
and that spreads out its roots by the river,
and shall not fear when heat comes,
but its leaf shall be green,
and it shall not be anxious in the year of drought,
neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
9 (Ecc 9:3; Mk 7:21-22) The heart is more deceitful than all things
and desperately wicked;
who can understand it?
10 (Jer 32:19; 1Sa 16:7; Ps 62:12) I, the Lord, search the heart,
I test the mind,
even to give to every man according to his ways,
and according to the fruit of his deeds.
11 (Lk 12:20; Ps 55:23) As the partridge sits on eggs which it has not laid,
so is he who gets riches, but not justly;
it will forsake him in the midst of his days,
and in the end he will be a fool.
12 (Jer 3:17; 14:21) A glorious high throne from the beginning
is the place of our sanctuary.
13 (Isa 1:28; Jer 14:8 ) O Lord, the Hope of Israel,
all who forsake You will be ashamed.
"Those who depart from Me in the earth will be written down,
because they have forsaken the Lord,
the fountain of living waters."

[1] The sin of Judah is written with a pen of iron, and with the point of a diamond: it is graven upon the table of their heart, and upon the horns of
your altars;
[2] Whilst their children remember their altars and their groves by the
green trees upon the high hills.
[3] O my mountain in the field, I will give thy substance and all thy
treasures to the spoil, and thy high places for sin, throughout all thy borders.
[4] And thou, even thyself, shalt discontinue from thine heritage that I
gave thee; and I will cause thee to serve thine enemies in the land which
thou knowest not: for ye have kindled a fire in mine anger, which shall
burn for ever.
[5] Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
[6] For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when
good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a
salt land and not inhabited.
[7] Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. [8] For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out
her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf
shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither
shall cease from yielding fruit.
[9] The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who
can know it?
[10] I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
[11] As the partridge sitteth on eggs, and hatcheth them not; so he that getteth riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool.
[12] A glorious high throne from the beginning is the place of our
sanctuary.
[13] O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters.

Jeremiah Prays for Deliverance

14 (Dt 10:21; Ps 109:1) Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed;
save me, and I will be saved,
for You are my praise.
15 (Isa 5:19) See how they say to me,
"Where is the word of the Lord?
Let it come now!"
16 As for me, I have not hurried away from being a shepherd after You,
nor have I desired the woeful day;
You Yourself know that which came out of my lips was in Your presence.
17 (Jer 16:19; Na 1:7) Do not be a terror to me;
You are my hope in the day of disaster.
18 (Ps 35:4; 35:8) Let those who persecute me be humiliated,
but let me not be humiliated;
let them be dismayed,
but let me not be dismayed.
Bring upon them the day of evil,
and destroy them with double destruction.

[14] Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved:
for thou art my praise.
[15] Behold, they say unto me, Where is the word of the LORD? let it come now. [16] As for me, I have not hastened from being a pastor to follow thee:
neither have I desired the woeful day; thou knowest: that which came out of
my lips was right before thee.
[17] Be not a terror unto me: thou art my hope in the day of evil.
[18] Let them be confounded that persecute me, but let not me be confounded: let them be dismayed, but let not me be dismayed: bring upon them the day of evil, and destroy them with double destruction.

Keep the Sabbath Day Holy

19 (Jer 7:2; 26:2) Thus the Lord said to me: Go and stand in the gate
of the sons of the people whereby the kings of Judah come in
and by which they go out, and in all the gates of Jerusalem.
20 (Jer 19:3; Ps 49:1-2) And say to them: Hear the word of the Lord,
kings of Judah, and all Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem
who enter by these gates.
21 (Nu 15:32-36; Ne 13:15-21) Thus says the Lord: Take heed to yourselves,
and do not bear any load on the Sabbath day nor bring anything in
by the gates of Jerusalem.
22 (Eze 20:12; Ex 20:8-10) You shall not carry a load out of your houses
on the Sabbath day, nor do any work, but keep the Sabbath day holy,
as I commanded your fathers.
23 (Jer 11:10; 19:15) But they did not obey or incline their ears,
but made their neck stiff, that they might not hear nor receive instruction.
24 (Jer 17:21-22; Ex 15:26) It shall come to pass, if you diligently listen
to Me, says the Lord, to bring in no load through the gates of this city
on the Sabbath day, but sanctify the Sabbath day to do no work in it,
25 (Jer 22:4; Isa 9:7) then there shall enter by the gates of this city kings and officials sitting on the throne of David,
riding in chariots and on horses,
they, and their officials, the men of Judah,
and the inhabitants of Jerusalem. And this city will be inhabited forever.
26 (Jer 32:44; 33:13) They will come from the cities of Judah
and from the places about Jerusalem, and from the land of Benjamin,
and from the plain, and from the mountains, and from the Negev,
bringing burnt offerings, and sacrifices, and grain offerings,
and incense, and bringing sacrifices of praise to the house of the Lord.
27 (2Ki 25:9; Jer 7:20) But if you will not listen to Me to sanctify
the Sabbath day and not to bear a load, even entering in
at the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath day,
then I will kindle a fire in the gates and it will devour the palaces
of Jerusalem and it will not be quenched.

[19] Thus said the LORD unto me; Go and stand in the gate of the children of the people, whereby the kings of Judah come in, and by the which they go
out, and in all the gates of Jerusalem;
[20] And say unto them, Hear ye the word of the LORD, ye kings of Judah, and all Judah, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, that enter in by these gates: [21] Thus saith the LORD; Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem;
[22] Neither carry forth a burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, neither do ye any work, but hallow ye the sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers.
[23] But they obeyed not, neither inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff, that they might not hear, nor receive instruction.
[24] And it shall come to pass, if ye diligently hearken unto me, saith the LORD, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the sabbath
day, but hallow the sabbath day, to do no work therein;
[25] Then shall there enter into the gates of this city kings and princes sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they,
and their princes, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem: and
this city shall remain for ever.
[26] And they shall come from the cities of Judah, and from the places about Jerusalem, and from the land of Benjamin, and from the plain, and from the mountains, and from the south, bringing burnt offerings, and sacrifices, and meat offerings, and incense, and bringing sacrifices of praise, unto the
house of the LORD.
[27] But if ye will not hearken unto me to hallow the sabbath day, and not
to bear a burden, even entering in at the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.

2) Our Daily Bread for 10 August 2025 Titled Unfounded Fears by Karen Huang

1 Kings 11:34-39; 12:31-32

34 "However, I will not take the whole kingdom out of his hand,
but I will make him prince all the days of his life
for David My servant's sake, whom I chose, because he kept
My commandments and My statutes.
35 But I will take the kingdom out of his son's hand
and will give ten tribes to you.
36 (1Ki 11:13; 15:4) To his son will I give one tribe,
so that My servant David will always have a light
before Me in Jerusalem, the city in which I have chosen to put My name.
37 (2Sa 3:21) I will take you, and you shall reign according to all
that your soul desires and shall be king over Israel.
38 (Jos 1:5; 2Sa 7:11) It shall be, if you will listen to all that I command you and will walk in My ways and do what is right in My sight to keep
My statutes and My commandments, as David My servant did,
I will be with you and build you a sure house, as I built for David,
and will give Israel to you.
39 I will thus afflict the seed of David, but not forever."

34 Howbeit I will not take the whole kingdom out of his hand: but I will make him prince all the days of his life for David my servant's sake, whom I chose, because he kept my commandments and my statutes:
35 but I will take the kingdom out of his son's hand, and will give it unto thee, even ten tribes.
36 And unto his son will I give one tribe, that David my servant may have a light alway before me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen me to put
my name there.
37 And I will take thee, and thou shalt reign according to all that thy
soul desireth, and shalt be king over Israel.
38 And it shall be, if thou wilt hearken unto all that I command thee, and
wilt walk in my ways, and do that is right in my sight, to keep my statutes
and my commandments, as David my servant did; that I will be with thee,
and build thee a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel
unto thee.
39 And I will for this afflict the seed of David, but not for ever.

[8] These be the names of the mighty men whom David had: The Tachmonite that sat in the seat, chief among the captains; the same was Adino the Eznite: he lift up his spear against eight hundred, whom he slew at one time.
[9] And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo the Ahohite, one of the three mighty men with David, when they defied the Philistines that were there gathered together to battle, and the men of Israel were gone away:
[10] He arose, and smote the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his
hand clave unto the sword: and the LORD wrought a great victory that day;
and the people returned after him only to spoil.
[11] And after him was Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite. And the Philistines were gathered together into a troop, where was a piece of ground full of lentiles: and the people fled from the Philistines.
[12] But he stood in the midst of the ground, and defended it, and slew the Philistines: and the LORD wrought a great victory.

31 (1Ki 13:32-33; 2Ki 17:32) He also made houses on high places
and appointed priests from among all the people who were not Levites.

31 And he made an house of high places, and made priests of the lowest
of the people, which were not of the sons of Levi.

{Yet an irrational Godless political decision}

32 (1Ki 8:2; 8:5) Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month,
on the fifteenth day of the month, like the feast in Judah,
and he offered sacrifice on the altar. He did this in Bethel,
sacrificing to the calves that he had made, and he stationed in Bethel
the priests of the high places he had made.

32 And Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the month, like unto the feast that is in Judah, and he offered
upon the altar. So did he in Beth-el, sacrificing unto the calves that he had made: and he placed in Beth-el the priests of the high places

"I love you. I'll never leave you." Julia saved her husband's text message so she could read it whenever she was afraid. A troubled childhood had left her with a fear of loved ones abandoning her. She'd often ask for reassurance from her husband, and she would wait anxiously for him to come home from work.

Prayer and counseling helped Julia respond to her fear in healthier ways. "I'd look at my fear in the light of my husband's loving promises to me," she says. "I'd think, His promises are true! and behave accordingly."

King Jeroboam also had unfounded fears. Because of Solomon's apostasy,
God had already promised Jeroboam, "I will take the kingdom from [David's] son's hands and give you ten tribes" (1 Kings 11:35). God assured him that
if he obeyed Him, He would "give Israel to [him]" (v. 38).

Yet Jeroboam was afraid. "If these people . . . offer sacrifices at the
temple of the Lord in Jerusalem," he thought,
"they will . . . return to King Rehoboam" (12:27). His fear drove him to
set up nearby sites of idol worship to prevent his subjects from turning
to Solomon's son (vv. 26-33). As a result, Jeroboam faced God's
judgment (14:7-16). If only he'd trusted God's promises!

We don't have to deal with unfounded fears on our own. God has given us the safety of His promises in Scripture. Let's allow His loving truths to illuminate our mind and steps.

Reflect & Pray

What unfounded fears do you have? What does Scripture say about them?

Dear God, please teach me how to respond to my fears and help me obey You.

Week 4 - The Blessings of Grace Day 1 - The Joy of Confessing Christ

Romans 10:9-10

9 (Lk 12:8; Php 2:11)that if you confess with your mouth
Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from
the dead, you will be saved,
10 for with the heart one believes unto righteousness,
and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation

[9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt

"Yeah", Teena paused and looked around, as if seeking an escape route.
"I , uh, well, I did it"
"Did what?"
"Well, I, ah, gave my life to God."
"That's wonderful!" Bill exclaimed.
He was still talking with Teena and encouraging he in her decision
when Maria walked by.
"Maria!" Bill called. "Teena wants to tell you something!"
Teena gasped , open-mouthed, then stammered,
" I - I committed my life to Christ."
Maria , similarly enthuasiatic, encouraged Teena in her commitment,
and within half an hour Teena was stopping her friends to tell them,
"Guess what? I've become a Christian! I belng to Jesus now!"
Teena had already surrendered her heart to Christ.
But when she confessed her decision aloud to others,
the truth of that transformation was confirmed by her.
Many of us have been raised to believe that 'faith is a private matter',
not to be discussed in polite company. Yet Paul makes clear the connection between heart commitment and verbal confession. Just as my love for family
and friends deepens as I tell them I love them, so a person's love
for Christ is confirmed and stabilised
by speaking of that commitment to others.

Application

a) Have I been reluctant to tell others of my faith in Christ? Why?

b) What happens within me when I do tell others of my love for the Lord?

4) From Prosperity Promises - Kenneth Copeland

Proverbs 10:22

22 The blessing of the Lord makes rich ,and He adds no sorrow with it.

22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, And he addeth no sorrow with it.

5) From a Book called God's Promises for you:

When you are Saddened by Loss

1 Cor 15:35-38,51-57

35 But someone will say, "How are the dead raised up?
With what body do they come?"
36 You fool! What you sow is not made alive unless it dies.
37 When you sow, you do not sow the body that shall be, but a bare kernel, perhaps of wheat or of some other grain.
38 Then God gives it a body as He pleases, and to each seed its own body.

51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall
all be changed.
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet,
for the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised incorruptible,
and we shall be changed.
53 For tis corruptible will put on incorruption,
and this mortal will put on immortality.
54 When this corruptible will have put on incorruption,
and this mortal will have put on immortality,
then the saying that is written shall come to pass:
"Death is swallowed up in victory."
55 "O death, where is your sting?
O grave, where is your victory?"
56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through
our Lord Jesus Christ!

35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up?
and with what body do they come?
36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
37 and that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be,
but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
38 but God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him,
and to every seed his own body.

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall
all be changed,
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump:
for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible,
and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption,
and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption,
and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought
to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through
our Lord Jesus Christ.

Remember God's promises when You pray

The Lord's prayer

Matthew 6:9-13

9 "Therefore pray in this manner:
Our Father who is in heaven,
hallowed be Your name.
10 (Mt 3:2; 4:17) Your kingdom come;
Your will be done
on earth, as it is in heaven.
11 (Pr 30:8; Isa 33:16) Give us this day our daily bread.
12 (Ex 34:7; Ps 32:1) And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
13 (1Co 10:13; Jn 17:15) And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen."

9 After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

6) This come from Praying for Muslims in Canada 2015 (Is there a 2021 edition?)

New Brunswick

Total population 753900
Muslim population (est.) 4543

Moncton, followed by Fredericton and Saint John, each have a growing Muslim population in New Brunswick, In 2007, the building that was formerly a Baptist church was converted into Moncton's 1st mosque. The University of Moncton
also has a Muslim student association hosting prayer services, fellowship getherings, and outreaches on campus.
Fredericton also has one mosque and a Muslim student association serving the campuses of the University of New Brunswick and St. Thomas University. Fredericton's Muslim population consists in 2014 of about 50 families,
and between 300 to 400 university students.
Saint John is home to the 1st Muslim Association for the province,
which also helped foster the Islamic associations of Fredericton and Moncton.
a 'musalla', or prayer location that is not officially structured as a mosque, has been established in the Uptown area with the intention of seeing it grow into a 2nd official place of Muslim worship. Demand for this new location has been primarily for university students moving into the area.

Pray for Muslims and New Brunswick
- that the eyes of pastors, believers and entire congregations will be opened to see this growing body of Muslims, and their hearts will be opened
to sharing God's love in Jesus Christ with them

- that intentional ministries to Muslims will grow and flourish in these
areas of concentration

- that cooperative CNNMM Networks will form to really, encourage,
and equip believers to lovingly reach Muslims in this province.

Adding further

30 days of prayer for the Muslim World 24 April to 23 May 2020

Under the Keep Praying page

When the new moon is sighted it marks the beginning of t he new Islamic month and Eid al-Fitr, the "Festival of Breaking the Fast", will start! After 30 days of fasting, the Eid celebration at the end of Ramadan is a joyful time that usually lasts about 3 days. Muslims will buy new clothes, exchange gifts and, of course, enjoy special foods. In Muslim-majority nations, the streets may be decorated and festivals will be held.
For many Muslims, Eid-al-Fitr begins with communal prayers at daybreak and the distribution of money (zakat) to the poor, which is one of the 5 pillars of Islam.
You can greet Muslim friends during this time by saying "Eid Mubarak",
which means Blessed Eid!"
Ramadan is over for this year, but you can continue to pray for Muslims you know, and Muslims around the world:
- Despite the unsettling developments in our world today that involve actions in the name of Islam, there is at the same time a largely untold story about unprecedented movement to Christ among Muslims. There have been more such movements of thousands or more new disciples among Muslims in the last three decades or so than in all the previous history of Christian Muslim relationships! Pray for this momentum to continue.

Acts 2:12-17 : 17 12 They were all amazed and perplexed, saying to each other, "What does this mean?"
13 (1Co 14:23) Others mocking said, "These men are full of new wine."

Peter's Speech at Pentecost

14 (Ac 1:26) But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice
and said to them, "Men of Judea and all you who dwell in Jerusalem,
let this be known to you, and listen to my words.
15 For these are not drunk, as you suppose,
since it is the third hour of the day.
16 But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
17 (Isa 44:3; Ac 10:45) 'In the last days it shall be,' says God,
'that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;
your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
your young men shall see visions,
and your old men shall dream dreams.'

- Pray for Christian workers an organisations focused on seeing effective discipleship movements among Muslim people.

- Ask the Holy Spirit to continue to inspire you to have god's heart for Muslims, to see them as He does, and to be the light that then to Jesus.

Matthew 5:14-15 : 14 "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do men light a candle and put it under
a basket, but on a candlestick. And it gives light to all who are in the house."

Ideas for prayer

- Pray for opportunities to show the love of Christ to Muslims around you
- Pray for, and offer generous hospitality to, those you know who are serving Christ among Muslim people -

Romans 12:13 "contribute to the needs of the saints, practice hospitality."
- When you gather with fellow believers, remember to pray for Muslims throughout the year and encourage them to also participate in 30 Days!

And

Thank you for praying through the
5 Days of Prayer for Sikhs.

"My name is Kam. I'm 29 years of age, and I grew up Sikh. As a teenager,
I struggled with depression, brokenness, and addiction to
cannabis. I didn't know how to stop or how to get help.

Then a friend invited me to church. As I spent time with Christians
and heard the message of the Gospel, I experienced the
love of Jesus Christ, and it was like nothing I'd known before.
One night I had a dream where I saw Him - a figure surrounded by
light who I knew was Jesus, the light of the world.

As I began to understand the gospel message, I encountered a reassuring and confident solution to the problem of sin. I knew that I needed a solution
to my sin problem, and I gave my life to Christ.

Slowly, God began to heal my broken heart and my addiction.
Nine years have passed, and I am a devoted husband and a father
to two beautiful boys. I grow deeper in love with Jesus each day.

I ask you to continue praying with me, and others around the world, for Sikhs. God is the only one who can draw people to Himself. He works in and through the prayers of His people. I want Sikhs to know the freedom
and healing that is only available through Jesus Christ."

13 (Ro 14:17; 12:12) Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy
and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope,
through the power of the Holy Spirit.

[13] Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that
ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

ROMANS 15:13

My paternal side is of Muslim heritage and will offer this section to further call for Muslim converts to Christian and any other converts to Christianity

(Hindus, Jews, aboriginals Canadian, atheists, secular humanists, ...) .
