Yet |ore4+ochristians|ore4 harbor the thoughts of satan teaching that the gifts of the Holy Spirit of God, wane.
What foolishness. That plays right into the hands of the evil one, sowing seeds of doubt. Doubt that would cause confusion and further weaken the weak as that gives credence to the power of Satan and weakens the faith of babes.
Some foolish doubters even claim that the works of God disappeared after the book of Galatians, and it was written before the books to the Corinthian by several years, and it is in the books of Corinthians where the gifts of the Holy Spirit are spoken of as well as ministries. And Pau; went tp the Galatiams before his missionary journey too the Corinthians and elsewhere as well.
1Co 14:39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.
Just an example of the proof that their doctrines are wrong. That they teach another Gospel.
1Jn 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
1Jn 4:5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
1Jn 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
Those in whom the Holy Spirit does not dwell is not of God.
Rom 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
I share these things for the well being of those who desire to be of Christ and strengthened by the spirit of God. Let the weak be strong in the Lord.

Notice how he tries to associate any denial of charismatic lies with the teaching of Satan, without any evidence whatsoever. Jesus said the opposite:

That's in the middle voice. It means they cease of themselves. Nothing
had to act on them to make them cease. By contrast, gifts like prophecy
are made to cease by the appearing of that which is perfect.
Just an example of the proof that their doctrines are wrong. That they teach

Notice, when John explained how to discern the spirits to see who is a
child of God and who is a child of the devil, he didn't say a single
thing about whether or not someone believes sign gifts continue until
Christ returns.
Yet "Robert" cites his words as if it proved his point. Nothing in 1

If anything, Satan is trying to get people to seek after signs rather
than walk by faith in God's word.
I am going to present a new commandment of Jesus in order to establish a base as well as the reasoning behind it, per God.
Jhn 13:34-35
34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
35 By this shall allmenknow that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
Here is the understanding of that, in practice.
1Jn 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
This is the truth of the Lord,
and it is not for me to judge, let God and the others judge.
Now onwards to the scripture used without understanding.
As Taught by the Lord.
Charismatic? Gifts of the Spirit?
Those who claim that these things are of
the devil?
Healings, Casting out demons, miracles, all done as the spirit of
God dispenses them severally amongst men?
Here is what Jesus said in regards to the Pharisaical ones of his day. Those who claimed to follow the scriptures....
Blasphemy Against the Holy Spirit
Mat 12:22 Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.
Mat 12:23 And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?
Mat 12:24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
Mat 12:25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:
Mat 12:26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?
Mat 12:27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.
Mat 12:28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
Mat 12:29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.
Mat 12:30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.
Mat 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy againstthe HolyGhost shall not be forgiven unto men.
Mat 12:32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
Those who do such things have no fear of God within them. And do not respect the word of God as given to men.
Now.... On to the subject that is in concert with all of the above. This is the next point of the preaching of Jesus in this chapter. Which addresses how one walks as a believer. Not rCLshould walkrCY but walks.
A Tree Is Known by Its Fruit
Mat 12:33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
Mat 12:34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
Mat 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
Mat 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
Mat 12:37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Obviously Jesus here was speaking to the Jewish Disbelievers of His day, those that were opposed to the works of the Father as done by Jesus via the baptism of the Holy Spirit when his ministry began. Yet the doctrine is applicable to those who follow him as describes those that say they do, but do not. As they do it not by their works. Blessed is the man who follows the path of the righteous who walks in the righteousness of God the Father.
Next onwards to the final point, of AI Rosie.
The Sign of Jonah
Mat 12:38 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.
Mat 12:39 But he answered and said unto them,An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
Mat 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
Mat 12:41 The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.
Mat 12:42 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.
V 42 references the generation to who Jesus was speaking in V39 the other scriptures here point to the people who will stand up in judgment against those Jews, since they had the full raw truth presented to them, with power, showing that God was with him. What they had been given was far less, yet they believed.
Lastly, Jesus spoke about those who were set free, but then yielded back to the ways of the flesh and their ending was far worse than had they never been set free. Verses 43 - 46.
Now I will return to reading what he went on to say, and depending on what I read I may or may not reply.
For those that do not know, I call this person AI Rosie. As they take the name of Christ in vain, and use it for their own purposes.
They she or he,
are doing their best to not attach their name to what they say,
and use AI to
generate their rCycommentariesrCO they also have apparently seated themselves in the Christnews NG as if it was theirs, which it is not. I have yet to see any of their tens of thousands of followers post there, which they claimed to have when they first arrived on the scene.
I had them KFrCOd due to malicious behaviors across all NGrCOs.
Something
changed in their setup, I will fix that and put them into the bin after I read the rest of their post. SO I will not see their reply to this one.
As usually God will be the judge of them in the end. May God have mercyon their
soul.
From my end I forgive them, and I know that if they have not committed the unpardonable that it is Gods will that they ask and receive forgiveness from Him first and foremost.

That which is perfect is to come, Speaks of the real Christ and his
return to the earth for the millennial rule. At which point these gifts
are no longer needed as he rules the earth directly for a time.
Until them all the Gifts of the Spirit of God are needed, an Paul
depended highly on them for the sake of a solid grounding for those that believed in Christ Jesus that their faith not be shaken and doubt rooted
out.
1Co 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus
Christ, and him crucified.
1Co 2:3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much
trembling.
1Co 2:4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of
man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
1Co 2:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in
the power of God.
IOW not with commentaries, fancy words, and Paul was very highly
educated, but in the demonstration of the Holy Spirit and His Power.
The demonstrations of the power of the Holy Spirit confirmed the
teachings of those that taught and shared Jesus with others. So that the fisherman, as well as a tax man, and others of High education, when they taught of God, the power of the Holy Spirit was the same through all of
them.
1Jn 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them:
because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

1Jn 3:11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that
we should love one another.
1Jn 3:12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother.
And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his
brother's righteous.
1Jn 3:13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
1Jn 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we
love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
1Jn 3:15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
Why limit the outward teaching and works of the spirit to one book?
Jesus said, as recorded by this same John, Jhn 14:12 Verily, verily, I
say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do
also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my
Father.
And as taught by Pau all the gifts of the spirit are for the body of
Christ to edify, uplift, them all in all the various facets of them.
So if you doubt it, then just say so. Of course you will not find any scripture that supports doubt and disbelief. Scripture clearly points
out that God will find no pleasure in those people. After all it is him
that one should strive to please.
Those in whom the Holy Spirit does not dwell is not of God.
And the fruit of the Spirit is:

fruit of the Spirit, not signs and wonders. That ship already sailed

Heb 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at
the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by
them that heard him;
Heb 2:4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and
with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own
will?
Total salvation encompasses all that Jesus has to offer us for a
complete picture, without limitations.
There is nothing in these scriptures that limits it to the 13 Apostles, especially as the office of Apostle is still in effect today.
1Co 11:1 Be imitators of me, exactly as I also am of Christ.
Now he tells the Corinthians to imitate him, just as he also copied
Christ. He renounced personal advantages and rights in order to help
those about him.
The Corinthians should do likewise, and not selfishly parade their
freedoms in such a way as to hinder the gospel of Christ or offend the
weak brother.
Rom 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that
the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of
Christ, he is none of his.
idem. Notice that not a word of Scripture Robert cited says anything at
all about sign gifts. Yet he pretends it supports his carnal
Charismatic contradictions.
You are the one who squawks about such thing, as you insist on doubting
the will of God. To me as well as the authors in the NT, it was a part
of everyday life and is done according to the will and order of things
Godly and according to His purposes.
I share these things for the well being of those who desire to be of
Christ and strengthened by the spirit of God. Let the weak be strong
in the Lord.
rCLAn evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign...rCY (Matthew 16:4, >> ESV)
Mat 16:3 And in the morning, you say, 'Today it will storm, for the sky
is red and lowering.' Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of
the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.
Mat 16:4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, but no
sign shall be given to it except the sign of Jonah the prophet." Then He
left them and went away.
Are you able to discern the signs of the times?
You were shown as the readers of this reply are, that they are still in effect according to scripture.
Here are 10 Bible evidences that signs and wonders ceased during the
lifetime of the apostles:
The sign gifts like tongues, healings, and miracles are what ceased
after they confirmed the gospel, just as the Bible indicated they
would.
Not only that, but the evidences of the workings of God are going on
this very day, world wide. People still have needs that only Jesus can fulfill. The Blind to see, the deaf to hear, the mute that are enabled
to speak. The cripple straightened those bound with evil spirits set
free. Body parts restored, the Dead raised to life. The prayers of
believers for the restoration of their nations, etc.The outing of evil
ones in powerful places,
millions coming to the Lord for salvation, freedom from drugs and on and
on and on.
God started his work in the churches. His judgments upon them, and while
that is still ongoing and not yet fully complete the Believers are
reaching out to those round about to save the Lost and deliver them from
the chains that bind them.
Oh, and I took the liberty to snip the balance of your doubt and
disbelief.
I pray that your heart be softened towards God, and that you would
receive Jesus into your heart, that you would be baptized by Jesus with
the Holy Spirit and fire according to the word of God. For at that time
you will find out that he loves you with a depth you have never known.
Let Jesus the Christ have the preeminence and humble yourself to him.
I will now put you into another and more secure KF.

Yes, oh yes. No envy there, he wanted those who followed Jesus to imitate
him as he did Jesus. Plus, he wrote it down for all people that reads the scripture he wrote.
The Corinthians should do likewise, and not selfishly parade their
freedoms in such a way as to hinder the gospel of Christ or offend the
weak brother.
Rom 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
idem. Notice that not a word of Scripture Robert cited says anything at all about sign gifts. Yet he pretends it supports his carnal
Charismatic contradictions.
I would think that should mean something to you. Maybe he is not narrowly focused on it as you claim.
You are the one who squawks about such thing, as you insist on doubting
the will of God. To me as well as the authors in the NT, it was a part
of everyday life and is done according to the will and order of things Godly and according to His purposes.
I share these things for the well being of those who desire to be of Christ and strengthened by the spirit of God. Let the weak be strong
in the Lord.
rCLAn evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign...rCY (Matthew 16:4,
ESV)
Mat 16:3 And in the morning, you say, 'Today it will storm, for the sky
is red and lowering.' Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of
the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.
Mat 16:4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, but no
sign shall be given to it except the sign of Jonah the prophet." Then He left them and went away.
Are you able to discern the signs of the times?
Here are 10 Bible evidences that signs and wonders ceased during the lifetime of the apostles:
The sign gifts like tongues, healings, and miracles are what ceasedYou were shown as the readers of this reply are, that they are still in effect according to scripture.
after they confirmed the gospel, just as the Bible indicated they
The prayers of believers for the restoration of their nations, etc.The outing of evil
ones in powerful places,
millions coming to the Lord for salvation, freedom from drugs and on and
on and on.
Amen!
God started his work in the churches. His judgments upon them, and while that is still ongoing and not yet fully complete the Believers are
reaching out to those round about to save the Lost and deliver them from the chains that bind them.
Oh, and I took the liberty to snip the balance of your doubt and
disbelief.
Good thing, he never shows scripture showing that the Gifts of the Spirit
are dead in the water, at least not for christians.
Eph 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Eph 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Eph 4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
Eph 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one
another, even as God for ChristrCOs sake hath forgiven you.
This came to mind after reading a couple of Rosies replies on this topic today as well as the other replies. I don't know what side of the bed that person gets out of every morning, but they should slide that side of the
bed up against the wall forcing them to get out from the other side.

|o-C-LBut when the complete and perfect (total) comes, the incomplete and imperfect will vanish away (become antiquated, void, and

At the time of the writing of the scripture there was already in
existence, the Church of ekklesia, the Holy Spirit, and the word of
God with signs and wonders. Some would try to deceive others in
saying that the NT was not fully written yet, however, the word that
we have is perfect only in spiritual concert with God who dwells
within the heart of the believer. It is well known that the
translation from the original languages is not perfect which is why
we must understand in many cases what the original languages meant as
well as their vernacular of that day.
On TOP of all that, the scriptures state that there is a book yet to
be written and revealed that in itself would destroy that
understanding, especially as it is written after the rapture.
Rev 10:7-11--
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall
begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath
declared to his servants the prophets.
8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and
said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the
angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.
9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little
book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make
thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
10 And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up;
and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it,
my belly was bitter.
11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples,
and nations, and tongues, and kings.
This was prefaced by the truth which was written just before it.
Rev 10:1-6
1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with
a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were
the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right
foot upon the sea, and his leftfoot on the earth,
3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he
had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about
to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up
those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth
lifted up his hand to heaven,
6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven,
and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that
therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that
there should be time no longer:
Obviously there is still unrevealed prophesy that is yet to be
revealed to man. We are given the insight of that within these
scriptures.
The end result of which shows that all the scripture that is to be
revealed has not yet been revealed.
V7 speaks to that for it says.
Rev 10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he
shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he
hath declared to his servants the prophets.
The end result of which shows that the bible as we have it, has a
portion that is not yet revealed, so there is no complete |o-C-Lcannon|o-C-Y as
some would argue that construes something that is perfect, meaning
complete.
Jesus during His ministry on earth said,...
Luk 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts
be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this
life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
Luk 21:35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the
face of the whole earth.
Luk 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be
accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass,
and to stand before the Son of man.
Jesus did not say to pray once and be done, but to pray always. The
why of that he spoke of in v34. As they get to busy in life, and so
get caught up in it. This chapter is very prophetic.

This just got interesting.
I'm not sure the following verses from Revelation support
that idea. Do you have some insight to share?
Also -- speaking of the construction of the Bible -- I've
read in MacGregor's _The Bible in the Making_ that this particular
apocalypse was added to the Canon with some controversy.
Why this particular apocalypse, and not any of the other number of them floating around at the time?
