God's Kingdom. What the Bible envisions for us.

    -- Living Bible
Matthew 24:14 ``And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it, and
then, finally, the end will come.

First of all, what does the Bible mean by "kingdom"?

Among other Bible books, the book of Daniel defines what a kingdom
is. This upcoming prophecy does just that:

    -- King James
Daniel 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven
set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom
shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and
consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

So what does that say a "kingdom" is? In modern language, a
    GOVERNMENT.

So Daniel 2:44 is saying God will establish a permanent theocratic
government that will remove all the worlds governments fatally. None
will be left. And God's government will last forever.

But why does Mt 24:14 call it the GOOD NEWS (gospel) of the Kingdom?
It will remove all the corruption of this world's governments. But
    that's not all.

EVERYONE will satisfy themselves with enough food:

    "There will come to be plenty of grain on the earth;
    On the top of the mountains there will be an overflow...." (Ps 72:16;
    NWT)

People will build their own houses, so no one will ever again be
    homeless.

    -- King James
Isaiah 65:21a "And they shall build houses, and inhabit them..."

People will also grow their own things, and eat the fruit they
    produce.

    -- King James
Isaiah 65:21b "...and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of
    them."

In God's Kingdom, animals will no more eat other animals. All the
animals will eat grass or grain type food, even lions etc:

    -- King James
Isaiah 11:7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones
shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

It seems reasonable that people will also be vegetarians. That is how
Adam and Eve started out eating. So that was God's original purpose.

And no person will EVER get sick again:

    -- King James
Isaiah 33:24a And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick:

Jehovah's Witnesses have been preaching the Good News of the Kingdom
for many, many years. And based on what it will do for mankind
shortly, it is fantastically, great, super, Good News.

    Sincerely James

the Bible envisions nothing for us. Reason? It is the inspired words of God. His meanings. His leadings.
    Books, of themselves, envision nothing.

    -- Living Bible
Matthew 24:14 ``And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it, and
then, finally, the end will come.

First of all, what does the Bible mean by "kingdom"?

Simple, by definition in the day it was written it means, "Kingdom: [Hebrew and Aramaic] [freq. 148] |kjv: kingdom, reign, royal, empire, estate, realm, kingly|

Among other Bible books, the book of Daniel defines what a kingdom
is. This upcoming prophecy does just that:

Kingdoms are numerous. There is the Kingdom of God, there is a Kingdom of Satan, of David, Solomon, etc. etc..

So if you desire to be specific, then Please be specific. You started off
this thread with GodrCOs Kingdom. To that end be specific.

In modern language, a
    GOVERNMENT.

Incorrect. A King is a ruler of their domain. I also showed you in todayrCOs language what is a kingdom. No where was it mentioned government. A King
rules over all. He might set up people to govern in certain areas etc. Yet they have to abide fully by the word of the King. After all, it is the Kings Kingdom is it not?

So Daniel 2:44 is saying God will establish a permanent theocratic
government that will remove all the worlds governments fatally. None
will be left. And God's government will last forever.

Nowhere in that scripture is that mentioned. rCLAnd in the days of these
kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.rCY (Dan 2:44)

Now here is where things get messy for you. As you know, this earth will be destroyed. It and the surrounding environment. If you believe the word of God you cannot deny that. So what stands forever. The other nations of this world will still exist at that time, even though they are all under the Rule of the Rod of Iron. Those peoples from whom many will join Satan to war against
Jesus and His kingdom, will be totally destroyed, and at that time the final judgment will happen.

Here, below, is what Daniel was prophesying about.

rCLAnd, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his
kingdom there shall be no end.rCY (Luk 1:31-33)

This is the Kingdom that Daniel was prophesying about. His Kingdom consists
    of the people within it.

Jesus is King of kings and LORD of Lords.

So I will stop at this point so you can clarify what you are attempting to claim. Is that the kingdom of Heaven? Or Kingdom of what. Does this sound
like Good News to you? The Gospel message regarding the Kingdom of Heaven?

How about you clarifying things up to this point so that we can speak to the rest? What is the difference between these things and the kingdom that came after the resurrection of Jesus the Christ?

Especially in light of the fact that it speaks of Jesus being the King and therefore God.

But why does Mt 24:14 call it the GOOD NEWS (gospel) of the Kingdom?
It will remove all the corruption of this world's governments. But
    that's not all.

EVERYONE will satisfy themselves with enough food:

    On the top of the mountains there will be an overflow...." (Ps 72:16;

People will build their own houses, so no one will ever again be
    homeless.

    -- King James
Isaiah 65:21a "And they shall build houses, and inhabit them..."

People will also grow their own things, and eat the fruit they
    produce.

    -- King James
Isaiah 65:21b "...and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of
    them."

God's word the Bible paints a picture of what it will be like when
God's Kingdom takes completely over. That IS envisionary.

So what is the Good News, with all those definitions? You are not
exact enough. And beside that, Daniel tells us what he means by
    "Kingdom".

Among other Bible books, the book of Daniel defines what a kingdom
is. This upcoming prophecy does just that:

Kingdoms are numerous. There is the Kingdom of God, there is a Kingdom of >Satan, of David, Solomon, etc. etc..

Ask anyone else who reads it.

Daniel 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven
set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom
shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and

Do we have a multitude of KINGS today? No, we have govermental
leaders. Danial is speaking of God taking over all the kings
    (governemental leaders)

If you don't believe the Bible here, that's your choice. JW's stay
    with the Bible.

So Daniel 2:44 is saying God will establish a permanent theocratic
government that will remove all the worlds governments fatally. None
will be left. And God's government will last forever.

Nowhere in that scripture is that mentioned. oAnd in the days of these
kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be >destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall >break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for >ever.o (Dan 2:44)

I assume you understand English. It says "it shall
break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms".

BREAK IN PIECES. That is not a gentle stepping down of those
governments. They will be destroyed, like taking something and
    breaking it in pieces.

Now here is where things get messy for you. As you know, this earth will be >destroyed.

No, I don't believe that. I believe what the Bible says:

    Ps 104:5,

"Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed
    for ever." (KJV)

    Also Ec 1:4,

"Generations come and generations go, but the earth remains forever."
    (NIV)

If you want to discuss Peter's statements, let me know. They do NOT
contradict Ps 104:5 and Ec 1:4!

It and the surrounding environment. If you believe the word of God
you cannot deny that. So what stands forever. The other nations of this world >will still exist at that time, even though they are all under the Rule of the >Rod of Iron. Those peoples from whom many will join Satan to war against >Jesus and His kingdom, will be totally destroyed, and at that time the final >judgment will happen.

BREAK IN PIECES. I don't know what else to say. It's right there in
    the Bible.

Here, below, is what Daniel was prophesying about.

oAnd, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and >shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of >the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father >David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his >kingdom there shall be no end.o (Luk 1:31-33)

Especially in light of the fact that it speaks of Jesus being the King and >therefore God.

Jesus can't be God. The apostle Paul makes that clear.

When God and JESUS are in Heaven, Paul wrote:

    -- King James
1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every
man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of
    Christ is God.

If you still believe Jesus is God, how can you reasonably explain
    that?

Concerning God's Kingdom, Jesus is the king of that kingdom. That
Kingdom will be centered in Heaven, along with the 144,000 priests and
kings who will rule OVER the earth. Thus that kingdom will extend to
the earth after getting rid of earth's kingdoms (governments)- Dan
    2:44.

You have yet to establish what it is.

I snipped out the post of yours as you never replied in regards to rCLGodrCOs KingdomrCY.

I can only assume you do not know. You went far afield shifting the goal posts, as you often to so as to avoid answering the question of what it is.
As I was answering your reply I could see you had no intention on explaining what GodrCOs Kingdom is.

So I deleted everything I wrote this time as well as your mistaken notions.
