    I don't think this one works for everyone, as the mostly upbeat interpretation of a very downbeat lyric would seem to be in conflict with one another. However, IMHO, the cheery melody reflects the false, happy mood that the singer is wearing like a mask in order to "pretend [she's] found the will to face another day."
