C-Span sometimes runs 'shorts' - little info/ed
movies sometimes running back into the 1940s,
sort of little views of America past. Some
may have been run before feature films, though
most look like they were for high schools.

Last night they had about a ten minute one
featuring some congressman and J. Edgar Hoover.

Like WOW he was a ultra-con hard ass !!!
Made tailgunner Joe look almost pink.

Half his stuff was about the Communist Agenda
in every part of our govt/society - including
TV/film/education. Commies everywhere - find
'em out, beat 'em down ! It's war.

The other half was encouraging nobody to put
up with juvie crime - didn't like the term
"juvenile delinquent" and preferred "young
CRIMINALS" instead. No mercy ! Burn the
negligent parents too !

Now were his perspectives/prescriptions
entirely wrong ? Well ... depends ...
the merciless DEGREE/ZEAL was too much for
a Land Of The Free IMHO. He sounded like
some old Inquisitor, or modern ISIS chief,
going on about crushing infidels. The USA
was NEVER like that. The jihadi version of
the USA existed only inside his head.

For a fair time, Hoover was kind of the king
of the USA. He kept files full of dirt on
all the politicians and big biz people. You
didn't cross him OR ELSE.
