A teenager accused of killing four people and injuring nine
others at his Georgia high school was interviewed by the FBI
    in 2023.

Authorities named Apalachee student Colt Gray as the suspect,
and he is expected to be charged with murder and tried as
an adult, according to law enforcement.

The teen had been interviewed after the FBI received anonymous
tips in May 2023 about online threats to commit an unspecified
school shooting, the agency said in a statement.

The FBI narrowed the threats down and referred to the case
to the sheriff’s department in Jackson County, which is
    adjacent to Barrow County.

The sheriff’s office interviewed the then-13-year-old and
    his father

No one is banning any books.

Here in the USA, we use the term not only to describe literally banning
books by making it a federal crime to possess one, but we use the phrase
more loosely to indicate efforts by one parent or one group to make
specific books unavailable to ALL members of the target community.

In America, the preferred method of dealing with objections is to put in
place mechanisms such that the children of the offended parent cannot
see the material but that children of parents who don't object are
    allowed to read.

Moms for Liberty and other right wing groups are in fact trying to
prevent the whole community from being able to read those books. Feel
free to use a euphemism to describe that behavior.

The people banning books are the right wingers.

    No one is banning books.

Right wingers are succeeding in removing books from circulation for all affected users rather than being just removed from access by specific
    children.

The father, Colin Gray, was charged with four
